Television TV Show Thread

2000s sleazy LA entertainment industry industry based show, i think it was short lived. I only remember a trailer for it from tv. Any idea what that might had been? Thanks.

I finally finished Snowpiercer . . . I'm not sure how I feel about the finale.

I wanted to see Jennifer Connelly's BF found alive and they have sexual relations again. I thought maybe Sean Bean would be alive too because didn't they give him anti-freeze treatment?

Watched Melendez brothers on Netflix this weekend, also a documentary about them.

It's strange so many people are quick to jump to the conclusion that they were actually sexually abused by their parents when their parents aren't alive to defend themselves and they never reported such cases to their psychologist psychiatrist.

I think people are quick to believe good-looking people.

Bean appeared to die from poisoning.

I was thinking the joint he smoked wasn’t to kill him, is was just to get REALLY high, to the point you’re “dead”. Then, hours later he wakes up and eventually walks to New Eden.

Same with Ben. Was hoping Wilford got the last doc to revive him through her crazy experimenting.

New series with Michael Fassbender looks pretty good.

Would like to add that Fassbender should have been the recent Bond, instead of Daniel Craig. Shouldn't matter that Fassbender is Irish-German, he would have been the perfect young Bond at only 28 years when Casino Royale was filming.

He might have to do interviews in that case and he has some meToo allegations.

I loved him in Killer.

Anyone watched Flordia Man?

Does the show hate Florida or its more indifferent?

I turned off the Netflix drama. It was years ago I watched the last documentary but I didn't want to be tainted by over dramatised Netflix drama before watching what is going to be a slew of more documentaries on the case and their possible release.

First two episodes of Lioness drop today which I'm bang up for, the first season was brilliant.

I'll start season 4 of Slow Horses this week, what with those and watching The Veil recently I'm into some pretty heavy spy shit.

Lioness S2E1 & E2 today.

Finished Netflix Gundam Requiem for Vengeance. Kinda skippable. Only 6 episodes. Told from Zeon perspective. The Gundam is mostly unnamed and shown like a villain monster even with some eye socket damage like a skeleton monster. Characters and story are bleh. The Gundam isn't even in nice vivid color scheme as if it's not meant to be the hero's mobile suit.

Started watching Gundam Hathaway the movie with attractive blonde girl character. I think I need to rewatch Char's Counterattack to see if this guy is the same as main character.

On its face, this doesn't look good.
But no where does it day a 'remake.'

If David Fincher puts his own spin on this, I bet it can be pretty good.

Between the first Squid Game season and Hunger Games, I'm sick of the 'most likeable character enters a deathmatch and wins without killing anyone' trope.

I just started 'From'

Holy shit. Haven't seen a show pop off like that straight from the first episode in a while. I'm 4 episodes in and am hooked.

Season 1 was filmed about 20 minutes from my place. I think season 2 and 3 were as well, but not certain on that.

Tulsa King is like a mix between the A Team and The Sopranos

It really is a fun show to watch. Season 2 is fantastic so far, and Neal McDonough and Frank Grillo were solid cast additions, to an already excellent cast.

One scene in particular... I don't know if Sly was actually eating real edible lollipops or not, but damn that scene of him acting (being) stoned on their way to the turbine farm was funny as fuck.

Two very, very good episodes. This season is going to be excellent.
