Congrats to him and his supporters, he's president now. So, time to do the work of governing now, and this work will have its results measured in how much things improve for Americans

Will Trump achieve:
  • Higher median wages for Americans?
  • Reduced grocery prices?
  • Reduced rent and home prices?
  • Reduced unemployment?
  • Reduced crime?
  • Reduced government spending?
Save receipts from now whether it's your grocery bill, your rent, or your salary and let's see for real whether the Trump admin makes things better or not

I’d love to see the most ardent Trump supporters actually give their estimates for these parameters in numbers and percentages.
Who cares about estimates? It’s either going to happen or not happen. The best we can do is remain non-partisan to judge the results.

The most important result is the standard of living for the common citizen. Let’s see how it goes. It’s too early to argue.

Because I want to pin these fuckers down with some hard numbers. But the reality is, most of them do not have the economic insight to actually quantify these goals, so they’ll continue operating on feeling that things are improving under Trump, regardless of what the data says.

The premise is wrong. Trump is just one guy, he can't do anything without the consent of hundreds of millions of people. If something bad happens, the real blame lies with the American people, especially the middle class.

Unless there's a construction housing boom and wages rise significantly I don't see homelessness going down. Only way is if they criminalize homelessness and send them to jail then they can claim homelessness is down.

What I want to see the most from him is continuing right to repair and forcing companies to open up their products to end users. Especially the automotive industry.

I'm excited to see what he does. Hopefully good things. I'm more excited than his first time around as I didn't have a lot of faith then. This being his last term it will be interesting to see what kind of legacy he tries to build.

Well, every US Serviceman/woman sacked because they didn't take the vaccine will be reinstated with full backpay. So there's at least one measurable economic benefit on the first day. :)

So the same thing liberals do to tell you that things were fine under Biden. Got it.

You’re never going to get a straight, honest answer from a partisan. Best to check for yourself and try to keep an unbiased opinion. That’s how you’ll really know

Not going to happen. Would love to see it but day one and the guy is already canceling Biden’s executive order to reduce drug costs. Like how the fuck does this help your average American? I think in 4 years we will be worse off. Hope to be wrong but so far not looking good

You know what lends itself towards being objective and avoiding bias? Actual data. I’ll have no problem problems crediting Trump for whatever successes he may accomplish if the numbers actually support it.

Just lol at this post

I'd just like to see my tax burden reduced. Significantly. Its absurd how much of my pay goes to various taxes.

The FBI and government hide or lied about the numbers under the Biden administration. They lied about 800k jobs being create. The FBI quietly edited crime data that showed it went up under Biden when Merrick Garland and Kamala Harris said it was down.

What do you define as "hard numbers"? Because this is where everyone's gonna start playing with the numbers to arrive at the conclusions they want. As an example, we could have a housing crash in a couple years that cuts housing prices in half, but at the same time interest & mortgage rates go up to 15% so housing ends up being just as unaffordable as it is now. Or let's say wages go up by 30% but inflation goes up by 40% in the same time period, how are you going to count that?

We're going to have to agree on a definition of the terms & measures before we start putting numbers to things, otherwise it's just as useless as feelings.
