Economy Trump's April 2nd Tariffs

That's certainly an opinion. Why would countries trust making any deal with trump when he just trashed deals with many countries, even deals he brokered. He's only shown he can't be trusted.
To me he's shown he has a backbone. Every country has gotten away with ripping off the U.S., tariffing all the U.S. goods etc... most of these countries cannot survive without the American consumer. Trust Trump or not, they have no choice but to engage with him because they have little to no leverage in negotiations. The fact that he put a pause on their tariffs while doubling down on China shows that this entire tariff war is to put China in their place. They have no leverage. Trump will win in the end.

Did you here what the guy was saying he had the flag up just before Trump took office and only recently did the signal of dire distress recently. Hardly a sign that he was having difficulty he just FAFO now. Why do you think Rand Paul became the voice of descent he hearing from his farmers and could very well lose his seat next cycle. Chuck Glassily the same thing all these mid western Senators are feeling the heat a congressman yesterday from Florida called out Mike Johnson.

Having family in farms i know it just doesn't go to shit in a couple of months.

They are not happy with some things Trump is doing and some of it is making life a bit harder. They were saying things have gone up

Chyner Was On The Ropes! 😵

The view that China was the emerging geopolitical power, with developing nations tucked under its wings, is looking similarly shaky. It is now unclear whether China’s GDP will ever surpass the U.S. and nations around the world are rethinking their ties to Beijing and the debt trap that is the Belt and Road Initiative.

Meanwhile, China’s population growth is
done. Chinese entrepreneurs are leaving the country. Optimism is dimming among Chinese youth. The Chinese stock market is tanking. Foreign direct investment is in freefall, as global business seeks alternatives to the “world’s factory” that don’t come with the same geopolitical risk, and Big State political meddling. The economic indicators are so bad that Beijing is pulling many of them from public view. As for the United States, it is chugging along as the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic economy. Inflation is down while jobs, real wages, and productivity are going up.

@Rod1
To me its pretty crazy how Americans have this idea about how awful the US economy is when if anything the insane economic performance of the US out of the pandemic should have vindicated the "American way" and yet Americans are more cynical and pessimistic than ever.

You may want to say that to the Ohio farmer who said he will lose his farm without the money he was to have received and DOGE put a delay on his subsidies.

Here is another one.

You out tariffs on us when we don't have one on you and you were in a trade surplus with us.

Made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Administration error.
Like sending that latino guy to an El Salvador prison.
Or adding that journalist to the Houthis bomb chat.

oh, you're just repeating talking points you heard or read. unfortunately whoever you are getting this from is just blowing smoke up your ass. America doesn't produce products like it used to, it produces services. So while we have a deficit in trading actual goods, we have a massive surplus on the services side. It really doesn't matter if we have an imbalance in trading goods because we more than make up for it in other areas. I'm sorry you were told lies, but don't take my word for it, look into it further rather than repeating false talking points.

Yeah but we’re demonizing immigrants and scaring them from coming here. The main reason China is predicted to not pass us is due to their aging population. Trump is doing everything he can to slow down our GDP growth. If we didn’t have immigration we’d most likely be in a similar situation. Most people aren’t having enough kids but we make up for that with young families coming here to work. This is one reason in very much pro-immigration. They also commit less crimes on average despite the hysteria coming from the right.

So he was losing money and has been for a while now and only surviving on government funding.

No. I'm not repeating any talking points. And your post goes back to my earlier point about this area of sherdog being a cancer. I gave you my honest read and instead of engaging in a civil discussion you chose to be insulting, accuse me of not thinking for myself, injected your own perceived intellectual superiority and pretend that you know everything that is going on behind the scenes.

Just enjoy your life. Have a good one.

Reports are already coming out that he admitted pausing due to turmoil in the stock and more recently bond markets.

edit: and of course in typical hypocrite fashion he's taking credit for the "biggest day in financial history." LOL

So says around 60 percent of the farms. These guys need market to sell to USAID was one of the biggest buyers of their product then trump slams Canada with Tariffs and China all but cutting them off of lifelines.

I mean it was at the time the morning when I made the post.

Did you find that post where you predicted Trump to pump and dumb the stock market multiple times in one quarter with bad trade policy yet?
Huh?

Listen man, you don’t like BTC. You don’t have to. I’m not forcing you to.

You’re also a retard

Didn’t they have problems last time too? Why the fuck do farmers keep voting for the man that makes their lives harder?
