This is just not true at all. The US is still one of the largest manufacturers on Earth by a lot and always has been. We produce more than ever before. It's just that we are more efficient at it and it requires a smaller workforce than in the past.

We produce more agriculture than at any point in human history yet it requires only 2% of our workforce. We used to have more than half of our people working on the farm.

This is technological progress.

42% of that 68% are illegally working.

Both things can be true at the same time.

Germans tend to buy vans not trucks. Trucks aren't popular in Europe, I don't think even the euro manufacturers versions sell well.
