Many countries will move more factories to the US. Our manufacturing base has been destroyed.

Germany should be buying more trucks.

This is just not true at all. The US is still one of the largest manufacturers on Earth by a lot and always has been. We produce more than ever before. It's just that we are more efficient at it and it requires a smaller workforce than in the past.

We produce more agriculture than at any point in human history yet it requires only 2% of our workforce. We used to have more than half of our people working on the farm.

This is technological progress.
