Its just a bad look for the so called leader of the free world to engage in third world exercises like military parades and appointing family to his administration. Also the whole "fight/die for your rights" thing is so overplayed and hollow at this point. Does anyone at this point really believe the military is fighting and dying for the right to hold parades or is it rather for the strategic interests of the US' global order? Was Saddam or the Viet Cong going to ban LGBT pride parades in San Fran if we didn't take them on?

That said I also don't care for gay pride parades and I'd definitely rather go to a military parade. I'd rather see a bunch of tanks and jets and shit over stuff like this

I wouldnt mind seeing a trump military parade. They're quite common in my area, there's an annual military parade where I'm at, and it's basically liberal central area. I dont think too much of them, and I love seeing the machinery in person. If done under any other president, nobody would even care.

We honor them every day... We honor lots of people, that doesn't mean they need a parade. It just looks tacky, like here we are with the most powerful military in the world and because our president is so insecure we have to show it to everyone. Does the military even want this parade? I doubt it because that means lots of rehearsal, lots of weapons cleaning and lots of marching.
