Trump V AOC & Twitter?

Haha you are so dumb...only the OP is the OP and the OP contained only one sided Orange Man Bad TDS bullshit.

Keep pretending AoC is not the single dumbest person ever elected to higher office and makes Palin seem more like Einstein.
...and yet neither you nor bobgeese nor anyone can find any actual quotes because if you could, you motherfuckin would.

I can find plenty from Palin in a quick goggle search. Trump has endless ones as you see in the OP and yet AOC, with almost nothing said quotable is the dumbest. LOL, you are such a blind dupe.

lol. sure thing. One thing sherdoggers hate is actually quoting stupid stuff because it takes time. LMFAO.

Sorry but if you could quote something you WOULD and you would quote often and spam it.

I just watched the video you put here and was willing to do the work for you and pull out the quote and put in her OP because i actually want more material for that. But nothing she says in your video here is stupid. Saying I am not an expert or knowledgeable in an area is not a stupid thing to say.

so my point is pretty much proven by you. People will continue to say 'zomg did you see that video or read that tweet, the things she said are so stupid' and when asked for a quote you will continue to get crickets.

Holy fuck, you’re a disingenuous POS, or you’re super uninformed.

She made an entire, long rambling statement which was a conglomeration off talking points she’s absorbed over the years.

Once pressed on it, she admitted she’s a dumbass.

Now, are you going to admit to being disingenuous, or uninformed?

LOL. So still nothing quotable, as I expected.

You spend all this time, but say "i don't have the time to write out one single quote' and you think you are fooling anyone.

Again in the prior video she took a political stance on a position I greatly disagree with. As she was pushed on that stance she admitted she is not informed on that issue and backed out of the discussion. That DOES NOT mean she said something dumb.

We have had talks on this forum about rocket science and other things. I may jump in at the start and offer my view on some stuff but once the real sherdog scientists jump in, I will often back out saying 'you guys obviously know way more about this than I do, so I am out and will just listen'.

That DOES NOT mean i said something dumb, just because I admitted I do not know the topic that well.

You CANNOT quote her because she did not say anything dumb. I combed thru and looked for it. And it is FACT that if you could, you would and you and others would spam it. Quotable stupid statements are like food here on sherdog. They become meme's (see Bush, Palin, Trump) and little is loved more when its a political rival. You got nothing and you know it.

INB4 you say again 'but she admitted she is not knowledgeable on a topic'.

If someone just spams links from aggregate sites like reddit that look like this. . .

AOC Threatens other Congressmen!! Again!! When will she be charged with criminal charges?
WSJ Calls AOC Ignorant So She Retorts Ignorantly
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Praised for Cohen Questioning, Says Waitressing Honed Her 'Razor Sharp BS Detector'
AOC Just Talked Tax Rates, Embarrasses Herself ONCE AGAIN
'As a person who actually worked': AOC fires back at Ivanka after Green New Deal criticism

you probably won't even go through each of them and will have just say "that's not stupid, that's just being misinformed/ignorant/whatever etc". Maybe when people refer to her quotes as stupid, maybe it's a catch-all for all that too. Colloquialism.

i am trying to honestly figure out what you are saying here.

I think you are agreeing with me. there is a ton of 'AOC just said some thing 'dumb' or 'ignorant' about X' with a few people agreeing and back slapping but what you never see is the actual quote of what she said was stupid. Like Bobgeese is doing above you get 'oh its obvious', 'its right there in the 'video'/'article'' but again they never provide a quote. Just tons of generalizing but no quote.

This in a world today that lives for quotes and to immortalize you with your stupid statements in Meme's and PARTICULARLY if someone is political and polarizing.

the fact is, and it is a FACT, that these screaming how obvious it she says dumb things will always find a reason to not provide a quote ('oh I don't have the time to write out a quote', lol as they spend hours here shit posting).

I am not an AOC fan. Besides my great dislike of Trump (I hate liars) the bulk of my posts on this forum are right leaning and I generally fight with those here considered left. I would likely not agree with much of AOC's politics and I disagree with her on Israel.

But that does not mean she is saying dumb things and the lack of quotables all but demonstrates that. Anyone would have to flat out lie to say it would not be a quote and meme bonanza if she regularly said dumb things. In the daily AOC Meme thread, I think there are two only since her entry into politics despite all sorts of claims in the thread saying she says them daily.

ok so lets agree on some ground rules so the goalposts don't change mid-way after the 50th link I provide for you to debunk.

We're going with general dumb/ignorant/misinformed/stupid comments right? That sort of thing, like Americans must "Eat Fewer Hamburgers" to stop climate change. I'm looking at pages of this stuff. How much time you got let's go through them 1 by 1 yes? All I'll be doing is copy-pasting the links, but you will be using up time and energy damage-controlling each and every one of them.

provide the quotes and i am happy to add them to her OP in this thread once i have reviewed them.

But ya, I am not going to post simply 'political difference stuff' as stupid. It is not stupid to believe in climate change and its not stupid to acknowledge that the farming industry and specifically 'cows' are cited as a significant factor in it. There are tons of scholarly articles here if you want to see them.

And i am one who often argues with people about what I see as problems with the Global Warming arguments. But we don't get to label them dumb or there statements dumb simply because we have different political view. that seems to be exactly what @bobgeese is doing above. I cannot see anything that she said that was 'dumb' with regards to Israel, but I do not agree with her politics on Israel. but that does not make it dumb but on forums like this, just the disagreement alone makes many label things as dumb.

But again, provide the quotes. I will likely err on quoting it even if I do not think it is dumb as I have already done in her OP post upthread. As i was struggling to find 'dumb' things she had said.

I added this

which really is not dumb at all, but more ideological. And just like with the politics many here tend to say if I disagree with the ideology (or politics) then your view is dumb. that is not how it works.

What makes it dumb, is when she’s pressed on the issue, she has to admit on national television she has no idea what she is talking about.

lol. You are so vastly stupid.

First off I am far more conservative than liberal. Most of my time in the war room, prior to Trump, was arguing with guys like Jack Savage and Trotsky. Also I am Canadian.

But you prove my point once again. When it comes to AOC you will NOT provide a single quote, not even one. You just don't want to take the time to write them out. GTFO troll. You would spend hours if they were there providing it as food to the forum. and now you are doing the same with me. You will never be able to quote me supporting Hillary (I wrote in a post yesterday that as much as I dislike Trump I am still glad he beat Hillary because the status quo 'lesser of two evils' politicians must be rejected and i am glad) but you don't need quotes when statements will do.

You are nothing but a troll. You got nothing.

“Occupation of Israel”

What do you mean by that

“I’m not an expert in geopolitics”

But the hamburger quote is still stupid and very easy to ridicule. There is no question about that.

Tidying up her quotes post-hoc with long winded reaches don't fix that.

It's like when she says "maybe we should stop having children" (quite ironic given the lack of children in Europe is an excuse for third worlder rocket-scientists and brain surgeons to come and pay for pensions) and you guys will bend over backwards to find it reasonable. It's actually not a reasonable solution to climate change, and causes problems of it's own (see Japan), but then again didn't she say something stupid about the world-ending soonish? So in her mind there are much more extreme situations happening.

Maybe someone should ask her "What populations are growing the fastest, and how do you suggest we slow their growth down."

Maybe @uppercutbus will change that and I will gladly add them to her OP. I
WUT I haven't changed gender
yet!

Puffs his chest out and flexes his arms, "its maam!".

You are an outright idiot.

You, today could start into a debate on Israel/Palestine.

As the debate grew and you realized that they had historians and scholars and experts who knew far more than you it would be perfectly acceptable for you to state 'you know what, I am going to step out of this debate and let the experts go at as I do not know this topic that well'.

Stating that DOES NOT mean you said something dumb. You can have high level views but ADMIT you do not understand the topic at a deep level and that DOES NOT make your high level views dumb.

You are just being stupid and obstinate here.

I am not saying she has not said stuff dumb, I am saying no one is providing anything. Maybe @uppercutbus will change that and I will gladly add them to her OP. I was actually shocked at how little I could find.

<TheDonald>

WTF?

I am trying to stretch and see what you think is dumb there.

it is a political position of many that there is currently an 'occupation by Israel' of much of Palestine. It is also in line with the UN position.

I argue against that and do not agree with the politics of it but it is NOT DUMB to think it.

It is also NOT DUMB for someone to hold that belief at a high level based on whatever information they have got, but then admit they are not an expert.

Again I cannot even see what you are suggesting is dumb. Are you trying to suggest that 'only experts should have opinions' and by default if you are not an 'expert' your view is dumb???

I mean in this thread alone I cold quote at least 4 things you have said that are painfully stupid. I could create a meme right now 'if you are not an expert then you are dumb' to highlight how stupid you are being. Good gawd.

is this the original quote as i am not seeing it as dumb. I see how its being characterized but if you read it in context it seems fine to me. That is why I ask for the actual quote so I can see the context and not just how someone characterizes it.

AOC said that Americans need to not eat hamburgers for "breakfast, lunch and dinner." She said we need to make some changes to our diet so we can address the 'problem' of factory farming.

"In the deal, what we talk about - and it’s true - is that we need to take a look at factory farming, you know? Period. It’s wild," Ocasio-Cortez said. "And so it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture. It’s not to say we’re gonna force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that. But it’s to say, 'Listen, we gotta address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.' Like, let’s keep it real."

Google the reaction to her comments and attempted walking back of them.

You’ll find your opinion is in the minority, on both sides of the political isle.

She stepped in it by parroting talking points she has barely a surface level understanding of.

Deal with it.

People are characterizing it fine, it is a child-like comment to tell people to "stop eating hamburgers" to stop climate change and she is also flirting with a strawman about breakfast, lunch and dinner to justify it.

The article ridicules it, many other articles ridicule it, many people commenting on the story ridicule it, maybe it sounds fine to you, but to many others it's just comes across as dumb.

I feel like you chose the wrong subject to defend here, like you aren't familiar with all she's said, if you listen to the way she speaks she "shoots from the hip" in an almost valley-girl-esque trope. She's not someone who cares either by the looks of it, not easy to defend as some sort faultless high-brow thinker.

And yet you still cannot provide anything because FLOL you don't have time to quote and what you do take the time to quote shows you are not being honest or genuine.

I AM taking the time to look for some to add. I just researched and think i found the quote by uppercuts and was about to post it but then I read the original REAL quote and not just how others characterize it (which is what you are telling me to do now, 'ignore what she ACTUALLY SAID and instead look how its being characterized') and if what I quoted is her actually quote I fail to see how its stupid. I can see how its being mischaracterized as stupid but that is not the same thing. I am waiting for him to clarify. I also cannot find the original quote for the 'maybe we should stop having children' quote he cites and I am looking as I will add it other OP if indeed she said something stupid there.

it is just frustratingly hard to actually find anything from her that is in fact stupid.

In this political partisan climate simply saying 'someone is taking a snippet of a quote out of context and ridiculing it' is proof the statement is stupid is not accurate.

if that is your bar then ya, we are probably done here.

If you want to discuss with me the entire quote and the proper context it was delivered and explain specifically what you think is dumb then lets do that.

I am not one who agrees overall with the 'global warming' crowd. I fight often with them on here on that topic as I thin too many things are said in improper ways.

That said there is nothing wrong or dumb with people believing:

- global warming is a problem
- man contributes in a meaningful way to it
- factory farming contributes in a meaningful way to man contribution
- And we need to rethink factory farming and in particularly cows being at the centre of it.

If you simply hold a different political position (and i do on some points) that does not mean what they other side says is dumb.

That is a big problem here on sherdog where too m any assume we must all hold the exact same opinion or the other is dumb. That is not how it works.

People understand the context too. But her solution is so simplistic and child-like, "stop eating hamburgers" then it's easy to ridicule.

She also hasn't offered the solution to factory farming and cow farts. "we need to. . . we need to. . ."

It's like asking how to pay for medicaid for all, "You just pay for it!"

Tucker Carlson sums up the way AOC approaches the Democrats Green New Deal in the beginning:
