This level of cynicism is beyond logic. This is the kind of stuff Reps should be doing it all the time if most weren't fundraising non-stop.![]()
So this is great. She calls a constituent, probably gets a hold of one crazy lady who talk her ear off for 10-15 minutes about what? Her lack of mail! "I didn't get no mail yesterday, didn't get none the day before either! Seems I only get mail about every 2-3 days!!!"
AOC is on the case!!!! This is how people get comic books written about them, doing the people's work.![]()
That thread was combed thru at the beginning of this thread bro. There are only two to three quotes in the entire thread and they are in her OP here.
Because there hasnt been an daily AoC says something stupid on Twitter thread going for the past month with 20 pages of them...

Oh wait. I forgot that AoC dick swingers dont live in reality.
What is happening right now.Kinda like sarcasm, right Nintardo?![]()

The entire rest of that thread is people saying 'she says lots of dumb stuff' but with no quotes just as we are now seeing here and just as you are doing.
How about actually providing some quotes?
I can do it in my sleep for the POTUS or Palin. Its easy if they actually say them as people constantly quote them or make memes from them.

...and yet neither you nor bobgeese nor anyone can find any actual quotes because if you could, you motherfuckin would.
Sure it is! Hey check it out, we got an update:
Oh man I would pay to have this conversation on tape:
<ring ring> "Post office"
"Um yes, this is AOC! I've had reports that some of my constituents don't receive mail every day! They were so mad!"
"Oh, well, you know, some people get mail daily, some don't, it's mail."
"This is BIG STUFF!"
"Okay okay, we'll check into it, I guess?"
"Yay! We're fixing mail!!!"
You sure are AOC.

THE BRONX — Broken mailboxes, two-hour lines and undelivered packages are all common problems with mail delivery in The Bronx, according to an audit by the U.S. Postal Service.
*sigh*
She has a staff, you know. When you contact your rep about issues with federal agencies impacting them, they can actually help with those.
How much of a partisan hack do you have to be to find an scenario where she actually did something good and can't acknowledge it because of who she is?
But but but...
Just another punk ass bitch talking out his ass acting as if AoC is not a dumb cunt made fun of by even people on the left. But hey, at least you can say you are a lot like your hero...talk out of your ass and pretend you are not and are serious while everyone else is wrong.
At least Trump is just trolling your dumb asses you covefefe bewildered twats.
I explained in my post. If you take the question at face value "yea you just pay for it", but let's not pretend that's adequate response unless you throw nuance out the window. The question just spammed out there is dumb. Her reply was not.
Yes in fact if I tell you I am moving into a new apartment that costs X and you say 'but how will you pay for it', and i say it costs less then my current apartment which I am moving out of, that should make perfect sense.
We need a running tally on the links I've given. So nothing she said is dumb/stupid/misinformed/overly-simplistic etc. so far? That thread was combed thru at the beginning of this thread bro. There are only two to three quotes in the entire thread and they are in her OP here.

It was a big enough problem that some of her constituents contacted her about it. Maybe they need medication delivered or they are expecting perishable goods to arrive.Couple points. One, I don't think missing your mail one or two days is that big of a problem.
It's easy enough to prove that it happensAlso I almost believe the whole story is made up.
https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/ask-congress-for-help_us_56099706e4b0af3706dd57d9Also how would a call from a freshman representative to the USPS do anything? They're an independent agency of the federal government. They're technically part of the executive branch, but even so outside the authority of the president.
I'm not sure about the details, but if I had to guess, her and her staff probably have connections with someone in the Postal service organization that can explain the lack of coverage and come up with some sort of way to rectify the situation. Anecdotally, back when I lived in Boston, there was a complaint that UPS/Amazon wouldn't do 2 day shipping to some neighborhoods in South Boston. IIRC, the mayor got personally involved and the issue was fixed pretty quickly.Having trouble with Medicare, Social Security or veterans benefits, the IRS, your passport or immigration situations? Your member of Congress might be able to help. But, as Brad Fitch of the Congressional Management Foundation advises, the key is to make sure you don’t procrastinate and that you have a legitimate case.
Even if he really wants to help, your member of Congress can’t do much if you notify the office at 5 p.m. Friday about a family member set to be deported Monday morning. Likewise, members of Congress can’t help you circumvent the law, and they can only help you resolve matters that fall under federal jurisdiction.
Each member has staffers — usually based in their district — who focus on helping constituents with these problems. Before they can inquire on your behalf, though, the office must have a privacy release form, notes Kathie Green, director of constituent services for Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-Ind.). Each office has its own form, which can be found on its website.
You must contact a member of Congress who represents you; otherwise, they can’t help you. Green points out that you should contact the office of only one member of Congress. Asking multiple offices to help you further burdens the agencies they’re contacting and doesn’t improve your chances of getting help.
“From a constituent standpoint, sometimes it’s hard to have patience,” Green said. Congressional staffs “do the best job possible” and have developed relationships with federal agencies to help you as quickly as they can.
I get it's a little hyperbolic, but that should be a minor gripe.AOC saying she's "fixing the mail" is a stretch here.
