Trump defense seems to be that he is looking into corruption in general so the fec laws do not apply since this does not related to the election.

Romney”s tweet• was effective rebuttal to this as well as trump when questioned if he had asked any other leaders to look into anyone other than his political rivals and trump had no answer and went with I will look into it.

Yeah, China wouldn't want their biggest competitor on the world stage to be ran by a buffoon who is creating a bigger trade deficit in policies between his nation and China.
