Social Trump threatens Bruce Springsteen

"Hi, I'm Bruce Springsteen. I'm worth about $500 Million dollars. Here's a song called 'I'm just like you'...

Oh, the factory closed downtown, and I don't know where to go, la la la..."

Guy is a fucking clown.

In all seriousness, I've appreciated him more as I've gotten older. Same with your boy Neil Young.
Neil Young is another one of those wealthy capitalist hippies that should shut the fuck up, and quit pretending that they're something that they're not. It's embarrassing.

I don't want to live in a world where someone gets rich from songs that resonate with their peers but then has to start singing different lyrics as they get richer just because they're richer.

What a catastrophic timeline that would be!

He's a A#1 asshole, no argument. His contributions to music are good.

The music is fine. Can be very inspiring. It's when they start talking, that I just can't believe how out of touch they are. They really do live their gimmick and want you to believe they're with you. If we ever did that true socialist shit, and just started raping the rich, they'd throw a fit.

I mean, how long did Neil Young's "boycott" of Spotify last? About as long as it took him to see a missing zero on his paycheck. Can't stand these cosplaying hippies.

Same day HOLA is bitching about 86ing Trump not being a threat, he makes this thread whining about Bruce Springsteen being "threatened".

Gotta love it.
What's the context? 86ing means ejecting or barring so it might be a reach to imply a violent threat. Not that Trump made a violent threat either but it does seem like an abuse of power. 86ing him would commonly mean voting him out of office.

Bruce used to do stuff like this

After playing to sold-out audiences throughout Europe, Bruce Springsteen added one last impromptu gig to his overseas itinerary: an airport terminal in Iceland.

Springsteen was headed back to the United States after playing a show in Berlin when his plane stopped early Wednesday to refuel at Keflavik International Airport. The Boss strolled into the terminal with his acoustic guitar and played a six-song set for the airport's overnight shift, an airport official confirmed.

It was at 2 am.

The 2 a.m. mini-set reportedly included Springsteen staples "Dancing in the Dark," "Bobby Jean" and "This Hard Land," along with "Working on the Highway," "Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?" and "I'm on Fire."

He might be rich as hell and not really like us.
But I sure as hell find him more "like us" than any fat fuck american politician.
You know the people that actually impact our life in some ways.

I'm just sitting here wondering if he really is completely unaware of his almost comical lack of self-awareness in those posts.
We all automatically put blinders on to varying degrees for people we are favorable to. Our brains work like that. It's something that I catch myself doing and try to correct. Trump supporters are all-in damn the torpedoes. They want the blinders. It's comforting to believe in something like that. That's why so many people believe in a higher power (not to say there isn't one).

Bruce.
You can't start a fire.

without a spark
I was watching "The Professor of Rock" on YT yesterday and he highlighted some songs that were popular but were really dark if you paid attention. "I'm on Fire" was one of them. Really creepy stalkerish shit. DMB's "Crash" was another one. It's about a peeping Tom, lol. I know your song was "Dancing in the Dark". That video had a young Courtney Cox dancing on stage.
