International Trump/Putin Summit

You all missed my point too.

My statement here was just, that Trump has been way tougher on Russia than Obama - based on his actions.
Nobody could argue against it, so you guys started to insult me.

Typical left mob culture...

President Trump is tougher on Russia in 18 months than Obama in eight years

That's not true. Trump has been nothing but conciliatory to the Russians. Germany is a captive of Russia yet he goes on to kiss Putin's ass a couple of days later. What a great dealmaker.

Liberals don't care about being called gay because they are open and accepting of their lifestyle. Your criticism is being tossed in a vacuum.

Conservatives calling each other gay is awesome to see as they get so riled up about it. This is especially hilarious considering the fact that many Republicans are closet homosexuals.
Weird post. Did you think my post was meant as a insult? Get your head out of your mangine.

Who is this dumbass looking fucktard?
The God Tier Swamp Monster, Scotty Pruitt.
Don't worry there are other on Trumps cabinet that steal tax payers money. I make good money but not Trump cabinet member money.
Price, Zinke, Dr Ben, Munchin all acted like royalty and stole tax payers dollars whilst on Trumps cabinet.

No need to be a dick about it, okay?

Well, you're the one who twisted my words up. So I'd toss that rhetorical question back at you. But I agree, there isn't any reason to be a dick about this stuff.

Anyway, I was pointing out that maybe....MAYBE(I'm just suggesting here)...there was a closed-door meeting between the two prior(maybe a day or so) to the Summit where Trump DID call him out and everything else, and this Public ass-kissing debacle is nothing more than Trump and Putin putting on a Circus act to show "Hey! We can all get along! Now let's lift those Sanctions, shall we?".

And even though the above sounds ridiculous, remember who our POTUS is and you'll realize this might be Plausible.

While I understand the plausibility, it's equally as plausible that he went into the back room and gave him a massage. So I'm going to invoke a version of Alder's Razor here and say that we shouldn't worry about debating things for which absolutely no evidence exists. Although give it to the end of the day, I'm sure Sarah Sanders will try to pass this by a few people and see if it sticks.

I think(and this is a longshot here) that the real conversation occurred in PRIVATE behind closed doors and what we saw on TV was a glorified "Kiss Putin's Ass" show.

You have no reason to think that happened and every reason to think the opposite happened.

Oh no Putin has taken control of Croatia's president too.

People need to stop acting like Trump is an idiot, and people need to stop acting like Trump is just concerned that if he acknowledges Russian hacking it will taint the perception of his election victory. Trump is isn't an idiot, and he could have easily won the argument about the legitimacy of his presidency despite Russia's efforts and intentions. People need to actually listen to Trump's own words (about the election interference, and about Putin well before the election) not what anyone else on his staff says, not what a Trump defender in congress says, and not the Trump rah rah media says. He is meaning to say what he is saying about this, so work from that when you try to find a plausible explanation for why he is saying what he is saying at this point. What is plausible is that Trump is more afraid of Putin than he is of the intelligence community and of the effete GOP congress. Trump is afraid of the Mueller probe though, and has done everything he can short of firing Sessions, Rosenstein, and Mueller (which he obviously would have done if the senate would have given him a pass), so he is boxed in, but Putin could make Meuller's job a lot easier which is why Trump's balls are clearly in Putin's pocket.

I'd take control of Croatia's president if I knew I didn't run the risk of Cro Cop trying to use my head as a heavy bag.

You know those beach photos are of Coco Austin.

Still I'd shag the Croatian president and be her toyboy.

Well if he went on TV and called Putin out on the Meddling of elections, that would be constituted as an attack on Russia since Putin is basically Russia.

So yes. "ON TV", those are the two options.

But OFF TV, though....there could've been a more private meeting that we don't know about...

Nope, he could have just said "yes, I accept the conclusions of the US intelligence community, and Mr. Putin is aware of that." That would have been an assertive and patriotic statement without attacking Putin. Instead, on the world stage, he openly questioned the conclusions of US intelligence, allowing Putin's denials to counterbalance the unanimous conclusions of the US intelligence community on Trump's scale of justice.

Beyond even that, Trump was so obsequious, so deflated and so ridiculous to the point of saying that Putin was so generous as to allow Russian intelligence to get involved into the US's investigation of how Russian intelligence hacked the 2016 election along with the personal data of at least a half a million Americans. And then today he stated that he didn't believe that Russia was continuing to their attacks on America's democratic process, despite his DNI's repeated code red warnings about just that.

And Trump was an even bigger punk sucker in private with Putin, bet your house on that!

I disagree that he's not an idiot. Anyone with half a brain would have said something more diplomatic, like, "Putin and I had a very lengthy talk on election meddling, which is an issue I take very seriously. My intelligence operatives have shown me things that had to be explained and I am getting to the bottom of them."

But his ego is too fragile to do anything remotely sensible, so he says the dumbest thing possible. I'm glad he's too stupid to have guile, though: some of his most stalwart conservative supporters are turning on him after this dipshittery and that never would have happened if he was able to control himself.

if trump goes after putin and attacks him, y'all would be calling him a provocateur, trying to start a war .. no head of state is going to travel somewhere to meet a counterpart and then hold a press conference with said counterpart to trash him/her .. not gonna happen .. from what I've read trump's admin has been plenty tough on russia behind the scenes .. no need to do what you fools wanted him to do which would just fk up any chance of them negotiating anything

trump should have handled that presser differently .. he shouldn't have taken any stance defending russia .. I was disappointed .. but attacking putin right there in front of everyone would have been awkward to say the least imo .. hopefully he said what needed to be said in their meeting

It is perfectly reasonable for the President of the United States to criticize Russia based on the intelligence we have. If that President feels so strongly that a public rebuke would be wrong, then he should at the very least cancel that public meeting and certainly not use that public meeting to deny evidence of wrongdoing and praise that very leader.

The notion that any of this is impossible is just cowardice. Russia is not some impossible monster who will destroy us the moment we criticize it. Tucking your tail on the world stage isn't sound diplomacy, and it should be mocked.

Handing over former ambassador to putin would be the end of him. So that aint gonna happen. But the fact that she cant say that aint gonna happen says a lot about trump

Yeah what does he gain from not denying it?

If you were Trump would you trust the US intelligence who may be filled with people who were anti-Trump and pro-Hillary?
