He’s going on about people being sentenced to multiple years in prison solely for trespassing, which is not a thing that happened. I’ve posted a ton of case data from the J6 convictions and sentences that clearly show this.

Both sets of pardons stretch the limits or purposes of the pardon power. I’d love to be living in a country where neither happened. But Trump stretches the limits of his to either keep his cronies mouths shut so they don’t rat on his crimes (e.g. his Manafort and Stone pardons), or to justify his own crimes and ingratiate himself to armed private psychopath militias that he wants to use to terrorize people (e.g. his Proud Boys/ J6 pardons).
—He stretches the limits for criminality and harm, we stretch the limits to protect innocent people in the face of Trump’s abuses.

Some people should not have been pardoned. Also some people should not have been put in prison.

The media manipulated the event. We had some violence, those people deserve jail without pardons.

But my understanding is some goofballs were just way over the top Trump fans, dressed in silly outfits, walking around the capitol, these people didn't do anything.
