Elections Trump Indicted On 91 Counts

MAGA cultists deciding whether to agree with Dear Leader or to stick with the current GOP schizo talking point that Putin is based and should win in Ukraine:

Nah, they'll just "reinterpret the facts".

Thank you!

I just enjoy trump getting proven to be a complete fuck wit, then watching his trumpidians do mental gymnastics to still support him.

It's fun because you can even tell they don't believe it anymore which is why they keep either sounding like parodies of themselves or getting more absurd with their reasoning
I think it's been quite some time since they hesitated in any way whatsoever to make shit up. Now, it's all about maintaining the cognitive dissonance long enough to achieve their fascistic goals. I mean, Fox losing their lawsuit, having their internal communications being exposed, and seeing the staff there are all liars and think their audience is stupid, didn't slow them down even a little bit.

Which ones first?
The current case, where he has already been found liable, is the New York State civil suit they brought against him for fraud. The current proceedings are intended to determine the penalty; it looks like the Trump Crime Family will lose the privilege to engage in any business activities in the state in perpetuity, not to mention paying a significant monetary penalty.

The RICO case against him in Georgia goes to trial in March.

I think there's one in January for the "Documents Case" in Florida, but I am not certain I recall correctly if that's when it goes to trial. Then there's the likely criminal indictment yet to come from the aforementioned fraud case, the insurrection case, and one more I'm just not able to call to mind IIRC, again not sure about the dates there either.

Edit: oh, and

*one's :P

It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. So unfair

It's difficult to give a firm answer, because there are a lot of balls in motion, and Trump's principle tactic is to delay everything until after the election, thinking that he'll be able to self-pardon his misdeeds, and he has Judge Aileen Canon that is quite Sympatico with those wishes.

As an aside, Aileen got her federal appointment in November 2020, and she's been assigned 224 cases thus far in her Federal Judgeship, and only 4 cases have gone to trial. That's right 4 trials in 3 years have made it to the finish line. Can you say Maga-Caucus? She is absolutely useless.

NOW__NY Fraud (Civil) case is nearing completion...gag order appeal results should be forthcoming...possibly this week...but the defense's case in chief is well underway.... it's first few witnesses did NOT help the Trump case IMO, and in fact so far they would have been better off to not have presented a defense. The last witness actually provided the proof required to satisfy the remaining counts' intent requirement.
This will LIKELY end up with the Trump Organization losing the ability to do business in the state of New York, and a huge disgorgement.... I'm guessing 3/4 of a billion (3 times prosecutions original ask... should have settled ya dumb orange cunt).

ALSO NOW_CO 14th amendment disqualification from holding office trial is now going to the state supreme court..almost certainly going to get moved up to Scotus with rulings expected well before the 2024 election. The sooner the better, because if that case is affirmed by Scotus, there will be an avalanche of state cases seeking to disqualify Trump from the 2024 ballot.

March 2024 Federal case in DC for trying to overthrow the results of the 2020 election

March 2024 the New York Stormy Daniels related falsifying of business records criminal case.....they have indicated that they will take a back seat if the DC case actually goes ahead (pre-trial motions aplenty as Donny tries to freeze the ball)

May 2024 Florida Documents case... this will NOT happen, that's the Aileen Canon debacle, and the only reason she chose that date was to try and freeze out Fani WiIlis from running in Summer 2024. Team Trump does not want the Georgia case to come to conclusion ahead of the 2024 election, because it is not pardonable by the President.

Aug 2024... Fani Willis Georgia election interference case..this is what Fani has requested, but not ruled on yet. Some think that Fani will slide into the May date once Canon finally has to move her date.

That's about all I know, but there are more criminal charges to come, I'd wager.

In their appeal against the Colorado lawsuit, Trump's lawyers reiterated that the wording of Section Three does not apply to people running for president and that Trump technically did not swear an oath to "support" the Constitution. Instead, during his January 2017 inauguration, Trump swore to "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution during his role as president.

"The framers excluded the office of President from Section Three purposefully," Trump's legal team wrote. "Section Three does not apply, because the presidency is not an office 'under the United States,' the president is not an 'officer of the United States,' and President Trump did not take an oath 'to support the Constitution of the United States.'"

Yeah, I saw that earlier. I have a suspicion the State Supreme Court will disagree with their interpretation. Common sense certainly does.

She was asking for it. Donald is the REAL victim here.

The court clerk in Donald Trump's fraud trial exposed herself to vile threats because of her partisan politics and by allowing herself to be photographed in public, Trump's lawyers have said in court filings.

Last week, a court security officer told an appellate court he transcribed 275 pages of death threats and abusive phone calls left for Judge Arthur Engoron and law clerk Allison Greenfield. She has been targeted by Trump supporters after Engoron placed the former president under a gag order and fined him $15,000 for twice commenting about Greenfield while a gag order about her remained in place. Newsweek sought email comment from Trump's legal team on Tuesday morning.

Judge Chutkan denies Trump's 'fishing expedition' to subpoena Jan. 6 committee records

In one of the cases brought by special counsel Jack Smith, Trump's team had wanted to get its hands on what it described as "missing" records from the House Jan. 6 committee.

WASHINGTON — The federal judge overseeing Donald Trump's upcoming election interference trial said in a ruling Monday that the former president's attempt to subpoena what his legal team dubbed "missing" records from the House Jan. 6 committee appeared to be a "fishing expedition" that was not in good faith.

i like how they are dubbing this one the "election interference" trial just to spite the orange rapist, who screams witch hunt and election interference at everything that tries to hold him accountable for his own wrongdoings, even when its shit he's being investigated for from when he was in office, or even before!

i mean this is the trial where the fraudy rapist is alleged to have defrauded his country by inciting an insurrection and disrupting the certification of an election just to try to stop the transfer of power. so zesto molesto's election interference trial fits like a glove here.
