Elections Trump Indicted On 91 Counts

I can't think of a single good outcome here.

He obviously isn't going to prison, just imagine the secret service concerns.

There will probably be political sanctions, but who cares, he's only damaging the GOP right now. This isn't about that anyways, this is about the rule of law.

I dont think Trump gets out of ALL of this without some prison. Remember there's the NY case, there's the J-6 case which has wire fraud tossed in there, then theres the Georgia election interference, which he's also on tape...and this. This is MORE sh*t than some mobsters died in prison over. And I think everyone prosecuting him is aware of this. Global eyes are on us like "ok US, beacon of Democracy. Just how corrupt are you?" If Trump gets convicted of even 1/4 of this sh*t and is still walking around scamming working class followers out of money, then we're just as much of a Geopolitical joke as we were when he was President.

Democrats are only as good as the GOP makes them be, and that's an incredibly low bar.

For sure, when they agreed to start taking corporate money over Union money they became essentially Republicans, just ones who didnt use far right populism.

We need to start killing': Some Trump supporters flood social media with demands for violence

"Some of Donald Trump's most vocal supporters lashed out with violent rhetoric after news broke that the former president was indicted for his handling of classified information, VICE News reported.

“We need to start killing these traitorous f---stains,” wrote one person on the the pro-Trump messaging board, The Donald.

“It's not gonna stop until bodies start stacking up. We are not civilly represented anymore and they'll come for us next. Some of us, they already have," wrote another.

Another person shared an article about Attorney General Merrick Garland's family, prompting one user to reply, “His children are fair game as far as I’m concerned.”

If you're still saying, "it's not a cult", you're fooling yourself. Some of these people are willing to throw away their lives for a man who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
Killing in the name of… Donald Trump? Can’t say I had that on my bingo card from 10 years ago.

I don't think any of that matters. Regarding international messaging, sending him to prison over documents is embarrassing, it tells the world America isn't in control of it's affairs.

That said, sending him to prison for trying to rig an election is a powerful message for democracy. Georgia is what really matters.

I'm skeptical on the case here in Ga. There's a LOT of people who love Trump here, but Atlanta is a different story. That being said, I can totally see Gov. Brian Kemp giving Trump a pardon to show how "loyal" he is to the G.O.P.

Kind of hope he goes to jail.

Then this piss off the even central right and get republican control of the senate and white house.

Then the Republicans then say let the shit storm now realy take off. They clean house at the DOJ and FBI. Then start the congressional investigation of the crimes of creepy Joe and a long list of democrats.

Just sling shit and see what sticks even a little then make the most of it to fuck with as many democrats as possible. Even if they never convect one person just the total shit storm will be fun to watch as the left screams "you can't do what we did". While the Republicans say "hold my beer and watch this. It's already started just need to put the pedal to the metal and aim the truck to the edge and hit it at full speed.

Nice fantasy. Problem is, the Republicans have tried the "sling shit and see what sticks" with Hillary and with the Durham investigation. Guess what? Nothing stuck, because they didn't have anything. Trump has been caught red handed. It's not slinging shit when you have SPECIFIC evidence of multiple crimes.

What a fucking childish take.

Doesn't matter you can bet most in DC have shit to hide that just needs digging out. With creepy Joe is nor even hidden.

The object is to feed the shit storm that is already going.

It does matter. You just dismissing these charges with "ah everyone does it" is the laziest argument you can make (and happens to be the argument most conservatives are using). Stop whatabouting for a second and accept that Trump is about to be legally proven the corrupt piece of shit every person that's ever worked for him knows he is.

Kemp created a whole PAC just to shit on Trump.

Trump is supposed to speak at the GA GOP convention and Kemp is skipping it. A sitting Governor is skipping his party's state convention because a former President of the same party is expected to be there. It's unheard of.

And the first cry of " you can't do what we did."
You literally want a nationwide temper tantrum over a guy getting prosecuted for what appear to be pretty obvious crimes. It's been said a bunch in this thread, but if there is actual evidence of other people committing crimes then they should be prosecuted too.

And the first cry of " you can't do what we did."
Why would someone cry if politicians that have a substantial amount of evidence against them are being prosecuted? It's not like it is unheard of for politicians to get caught breaking the law. What is kind of new is a whole political party pretending that we shouldn't prosecute one particular politician because he wants to be president again.
