Elections Trump Indicted On 91 Counts

Trump taking a dump next to classified documents really sums up his complete disregard for anything other than his ego and anything respecting the security and norms of the US.

Trump’s hands-on handling
The indictment indicates that Trump was intimately involved in the handling of boxes brought from the White House to Mar-a-Lago, requesting some of them and sorting through the items after the National Archives pressured Trump aides to send the files back to Washington. In January 2022, Nauta suggested in a text message that Trump was upset that the boxes were labeled with too many details about their contents.

“Can we get new box covers? … I marked too much,” Nauta wrote to a colleague.

The message was sent just days before 15 boxes were dispatched from Mar-a-Lago to the National Archives. The FBI later concluded that the boxes contained 197 documents with classification markings.

Remember Smith has a reputation internationally. He doesnt just take out the top guy, he also goes after anyone who helped them. Being there's conspiracy charges, Trump is just the beginning.

Yeah reckon you are correct, we've got a crystal- pendalogued sconce. I wonder which foreign national gifted him that. When you think about it, the odds must be overwhelming that mar-a-lago is bugged ah?
I wouldn't worry so much about bugs as about the documents being stored in a bathroom and what looks like a stage maybe in a ballroom or something. I hope the tapes aren't all lost and we can determine if any random people walked into those areas.

Yeah what am I thinking, you don't need a spy camera when you can just read nuclear secrets while taking a shit like it's the TV Guide.

Lots of garbage in this thread, but appreciate your opinions, so just jumping in, completely unrelated to this post.

To me it is a total joke and they have nothing. First, no where in the indictemnt do they even mention the presidential records act. They are completely ignoring it because it debunks all their arguments.

Also, some people, including some like the Ben Shapiros are trying to make it be "omg he is unqualified for office!". But the 2 main "gotchas" are also jokes. In the spoiler are the two big "highlights" of the indictment that kind of justify how supposedly "damning" the indictment is

But if you look, he never says it is still a classified document. He says he had the power to declassify at one point, he doesnt now. Calling it a secret does not mean it is still classified. Both are about supposedly the same document, a potential attack on Iran.

So a battle plan was drawn up for Trump, during his presidency. When he leaves office, why does it matter if he declassified it and is showing someone, especially a high level military officer. It still is a secret battle plan drawn up for him.

Without seeing the document, and seeing potentially sensitive stuff that is still relevant with a new admin and foreign policy, how is it espionage?

How the documents are handled? Photos of literally dozens and dozens of boxes, yet they only cite a few dozen in the indictment, so what does showing these other boxes matter? Even the picture they are showing that is so damning from the evidence is mostly news paper clippings lol

Lmao dude, get therapy. You're mentally ill and completely oblivious.

What really blows my mind is the people crying weaponization of the FBI.

How is it possible these are the same people who refuse to admit law enforcement was and continues to be weaponized against the black community?
Because we're dealing with coded language and power entitlement. The chuds of the land don't have an issue with the FBI being "weaponized", it's that they feel entitled for that weaponization to be used against he people they feel born to lord it over.

bro I don’t care

I literally don’t care if Clinton or Biden go to prison. Clinton certainly in my view was corrupt. But that doesn’t change that she didn’t leave the goods behind and Trump did

Did you read the indictment? He’s a fuckin moron.
I did not read it.
Kind of already assumed Trump did something shady.

I might agree with your point
Except that there's never been evidence of her committing any crimes. Trump's stuff isn't as serious (eating kids, wearing people's faces as a mask, having people killed, etc.), but it's actually real.
That is why she is the goat.
This is a fallacy. The implication here is that BECAUSE someone is opposing an incumbent then they cannot or should not be indicted why...becaus it looks bad? That would literally free up every wealthy narcissistic sociopath to merely run for office to avoid being held accountable for selling out the Country to further enrich themselves. This mentality enables corruption, it doesnt make things seem more fair. The other implication is that it can ONLY be fair if both candidates are prosecuted, but based on what?

Debunking of this line of bullsh*t is in the reputation of those on charge. Jack Smith has taken down National Leaders as part of International criminal court proceedings, and has gone after both Democrats and Republicans domestically. He has declined to indict Republicans when there was no evidence of criminal activity. The NY DA took down Cuomo, who was a NYDP darling. Accusing these people of partisanship in legal proceedings is just downright nonsense.

There are people out there who claim to be harbingers of truth, who build followings on ideological nonsense mixed with grievance politics of their base. Much of the time these people are corrupt charlatans who are fleecing their followers and doing plenty of illegal sh*t behind the curtain. When they are found out and busted they IMMEDIATELY claim persecution, the claim conspiracy against them, they claim their PROsecution is demonstration of their own contentions against the very thing they want control over. These people are called cult leaders. Joseph Smith of the Mormon Church was executed because of this kind of behavior, he and his followers went into towns, eventually overran local Government, opposed the actual Governor, meanwhile he was doing terrible sh*t to people and breaking laws. He also claimed that his arrest was persecution for trying to spread the TRUE word of God.

Now there's weirdos in here putting Trump and God in the same breath, exhibiting the same persecution fetish, willing to excuse literally any action this man does whether legal or not, and suggesting he has magical powers to rearrange how this entire Country works. This is the behavior of cultists.
Well written article and you bring up a great point. If all political candidates get a get out of jail card, it will increase criminal activity even more. Definitely problematic.

Counterpoint is that it seems like people like Hillary and Biden get winked at.

Interesting how you put two outlandish statements that no real people believe outside of the depths of Q and then add a real concern behind it.

A lot of people with evidence around Hillary have suicided themselves.

I might not even be able to respond to this thread. Even though I love life, I might be suicided tonight.

I know it's sort of cool for the people who WANT a dictator here in the US to refer to any other leader as a dictator, but nah. Again, Jack Smith has a pretty consistent reputation of non-partisan application of the law. Trump has essentially bragged about crimes in the open, he just never thought this Country would actually make a sincere attempt to hold him accountable, because we usually do let the wealthy slide with lots of things. These are just egregious acts on his part and it's going to be fashionable for conservatives to deflect.

Ken Paxton is a Trump stooge who actively tried to help overturn the 2020 election. He was just impeached as Texas AG. He alleges he did nothing and this was all political, its f*ckin Texas and he was ousted BY Republicans against Trump's wishes. He's been under Federal Investigation for a while himself, ironically there isnt a ton of crying about this around here. The two lawyers working against him are some of the best Texas has ever had. One of them made a statement and said "whatever you think you know of why this is happening, you're going to find out its ten times worse."

These blatant cheats dont need to be compared to anyone to look guilty.

Apparently the case has been assigned to Aileen M. Cannon. Same Trump appointed judge who has previously displayed a clear bias for him and made a joke of herself with earlier rulings. Pretty outrageous.

This is because it's being viewed as a continuation. She isnt likely to remain in control of the proceedings.

They're all outlandish and crazy, but you just outed yourself as a lunatic.
