She's arm candy, not a political entity like others have said. If you care what a model and jewelry designer has to say you're doing it wrong.

Yep. That passage obviously resonated with her and reminded her of her own upbringing.
I honestly think she was innocent to the idea that she was supposed to hate Michelle rather than admire her. I feel bad for her, that sounds like good faith on her part gone horribly wrong by an incompetent writer, a vicious press, and the outrageous political norms of today.

I was furious with him for allowing himself to be caught up in that tawdry sex scandal when he knew the Republicans were out to get him for anything they could.
I suppose you're right, and I do have love for the old freak.
We both love jazz after all

He’s such a charismatic figure you have to work not to like the guy. The thing is, he was also a scheister, and obviously had some self control issues. On top of that, while his record was generally pretty good, signing of the China Trade Agreement – or whatever the hell it was called, I honestly can’t recall off the top of my head – has impacted America as much as Bush’s legislation that kicked off the real estate crises of the late 00’s. Bill’s a guy that I love but as a president he has some pretty black marks on his legacy, but he had enough success paired with a very charismatic persona that make us forget about a lot of those black marks.

Claiming you're a qualified architect when you dropped out of college LOL!

Trump probably told her to lie. That's his MO.

Can you elaborate?
I don't always get an obliquely drawn point.

What don't you understand? You said shallowness might get Trump elected. But I'm guessing you had no problem with it when it got Obama elected. The irony is that this thread is about a shallow topic.

Ever seen the video below? These people don't know anything about politics, but they sure know a lot about irrelevant stuff (even when it's not even true).

Solid post that resonates with my memory of those years.

Are we really going to discuss Trump's wife's lies, without bringing up Hillary's husband's lies?

Ha ha ha… That’s a good laugh. Yeah, it’s not exactly a surprise that the number of utterly uninformed and mislead voters that heralded in Obama’s presidency was high, but do you honestly think it was different before that, or now? There are videos going around showing supposedly educated college kids who don’t know the first bloody thing about what’s going on but are voting for Hillary because she’s has a vagina and, let’s be frank – you think it would be hard to make videos absolutely clowning Trump voters?

This is funny. This is sad. This is the norm. It has been for a long time. Yes, there were a lot of people who voted for Obama without knowing the first thing about him other than either his party affiliation or his skin color, but not much has changed in that regard for either party.

Agree, both sides have their idiots. I was just responding to the TS's comment that shallow voters might get Trump elected, as if it was something unique to Trump.

Ah, my apologies. You were spot on, and the TS is being a bit forgetful. In an odd way, I actually find Obama and Trump to have similar campaigns - both idealistic, promising to fix America, appealing to identity... They don't inspire people to look at the issues carefully, but to jump on the message.

Bill went after a girl 30 years younger than he, and then we found out about the plane.

I really clicked on this thread to see hot pics of Melania.

Nobody cares. This is as petty as unfavorably comparing Hillary's appearance against Melania's- which people on this forum constantly do for god knows what reason.

Impressive; until now I've never seen anyone get rustled over being asked to expand on a post.
My apologies.

If you're that upset that a hot piece of ass isn't held accountable for things and gets a free pass, you're in for a rough life.

Also, I'm not even sure what "plagiarism" is when it comes to political speeches. They all seem pretty boiler plate and aren't even written by the people giving the speeches.

Hardly unique to Trump, but Trump's shallowness is unique, I'd say.
He's certainly the most un-Presidential candidate I've ever seen.

Well, my point was about shallow intellect voters.

I'll admit, he could be a little more presidential. Not crazy about his tone sometimes.

Democrats aren't very comfortable attacking the wives of presidents or candidates, that's a GOP thing.

It's pretty obvious when you look at the lack of attacks on Nancy, Barbara, and Laura compared to the crap that Michelle and Hillary were put through while first lady.

Just another area where the supposed "old fashion values" of the right seem to be ignored.
