The Chamber of Commerce issued a rebuttal of Donald Trump's latest speech, the one delivered in front of a pile of trash.

I actually tend to disagree with the Chamber of Commerce here (and agree with Trump and Hillary), but I thought it might be worth a read.

I wish I was starting the new Trump Dump with something fantastically stupid, but JDragon scooped me on Trump begging foreign politicans for money so I'll have to settle for a thoughtful, nuanced article on a complicated subject. This is a bad trend for the WR, imo.

Here's an article outlining Trump's various scandals. A few things I didn't know, like:

-in addition to losing legal actions for discriminating against blacks in his residential buildings, he was also sued for discriminating against black women in the Miss America pageant. He settled. He was also fined $200 000 by New Jersey for discriminating against blacks at his casino.

-I'd never before heard the details of how his ex-wife "took back" her deposition that he raped her to punish her because he was furious that the scalp surgeon she recommended botched the job on his hair.

Ivana Trump said during a deposition in their divorce case that she “felt violated” and that her husband had raped her. Later, Ivana Trump released a statement saying: “During a deposition given by me in connection with my matrimonial case, I stated that my husband had raped me. [O]n one occasion during 1989, Mr. Trump and I had marital relations in which he behaved very differently toward me than he had during our marriage. As a woman, I felt violated, as the love and tenderness, which he normally exhibited towards me, was absent. I referred to this as a ‘rape,’ but I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense.”

Donald Trump is being sued by a girl who says he, along with :eek::eek::eek:phile Jeffrey Epstein, forcibly raped her when she was thirteen. It's strange that I haven't heard anyone talking about this, but this could explain why Trump hasn't attacked the Clintons for their close connection to Epstein.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...ng-down-donald-trump-and-hillary-clinton.html

Epstein’s little black book and flight logs read like a virtual Who’s Who: Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Larry Summers, Kevin Spacey, Prince Andrew, and Naomi Campbell all hitched rides on Epstein’s private planes. Socialites and distinguished scientists went to visit Epstein’s island in St. Thomas, and cavorted at epic dinner parties at his palatial townhouse—then the largest privately owned residence in New York, as he liked to brag. There, they picked at elaborate meals catered by celebrity chefs like Rocco DiSpirito, marvelled at Epstein’s opulent decor, and noted the pack of very, very young model-types with whom Epstein always seemed to surround himself.

But a darker story was going on underneath the glamour. In 2008, Epstein was convicted of soliciting sex from an underage girl and quietly paid settlements to scores of alleged victims who said he serially molested them. But the girls kept coming out of the woodwork—in 2014, another young woman filed a lawsuit claiming that Epstein used her as a sex slave for his powerful friends—and that she’d been at parties on his private island with former President Clinton.

And just last week, yet another “Jane Doe” filed a suit in New York accusing Epstein and Donald Trump of raping her at a series of sex parties when she was only 13.

This is the second time this girl has filed legal action against Trump.

The new complaint charges that Trump’s denial amounts to defamation. This time, Johnson also has a declaration from a woman who claims to be a corroborating witness, known in the suit as Tiffany Doe. According to her statement, Tiffany was 22 when she lured Johnson to Epstein’s home and witnessed Johnson’s alleged rape firsthand.

“I’ve known Jeff for 15 years,” Trump told New York Magazine in 2002. Calling him a “terrific guy,” Trump continued, “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it—Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

Johnson will likely have her day in court, but—perhaps ironically, given Trump’s habit of “just asking” about conspiracy theories while claiming he’s not endorsing them—the veracity of her claims may not matter. True or not, they bring to light a number of disturbing questions about Epstein and his pre-Palm Beach days—ones both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will likely have to address.

Here's the statement from the witness for the lawsuit:

I personally witnessed four sexual encounters that the Plaintiff was forced to have with Mr. Trump during this period, including the fourth of these encounters where Mr. Trump forcibly raped her despite her pleas to stop.

I personally witnessed the one occasion where Mr. Trump forced the Plaintiff and a 12-year-old female named Maria [to] perform oral sex on Mr. Trump and witnessed his physical abuse of both minors when they finished the act.

It was my job to personally witness and supervise encounters between the underage girls that Mr. Epstein hired and his guests.

This witness is stepping forward even though she implicates herself in child sex trafficking.

How come no one is talking
about bill Clinton meeting with
the attorney general during this
Fbi investigation?

They met in a private jet, idle,
on a tarmac. Shady as fuck

Trump bragged today that he was asked to speak each night at the RNC convention. He actually was proud of it and too self-absorbed to realize nobody wants to speak at the convention. They just desperately need to fill time. He still managed to sound like a total douche tho.
“What they’ve asked me to do is to speak all three nights. I turned it down,” Trump told the New York Times, explaining his worry that it would make him seem egocentric. He did not say who had asked him.
“I don’t want people to think I’m grandstanding, which I’m not,” he said. “But it would get high ratings.”

This is a trump thread, not a former president thread. Are you interested in discussing the issues, or just trying to deflect.

Also, people are talking about it. In a thread where that is the topic. This is not that.

Yuuugge, not really

According to BuzzFeed’s sources, Trump kept what was essentially a switchboard in his bedroom that allowed him to tap into phone calls made by any of the hundred or so people staying at Mar-A-Lago:

Normally I'd laugh that off, but a number of campaign staff who resigned last week were convinced that Trump was bugging their offices.
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/28/u...ss&emc=rss&smid=fb-nytpolitics&smtyp=cur&_r=1

And when lewandowski was asked about it, he gave a pretty weak response - he first ignored the question, and then he said that everyone is happy with their offices, and he doesn't know, but doesn't think they're bugged.

I think that’s a lot of speculation, I don’t think that’s the case at all, I think we’re very happy with the way that our offices are set up.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...y-himself-a-tim-tebow-signed-football-helmet/

Trump used charity money to buy Tim Tebow's helmet for $12 000.

Trump won, eventually, with a bid of $12,000. Afterward, he posed with the helmet. His purchase made gossip-column news: a flourish of generosity, by a mogul with money to burn. "The Donald giveth, and The Donald payeth," wrote the Palm Beach Daily News. "Blessed be the name of The Donald."

But Trump didn't actually pay with his own money.

Instead, the Susan G. Komen organization — the breast-cancer nonprofit that hosted the party — got a $12,000 payment from another nonprofit , the Donald J. Trump Foundation.

Trump himself sent no money. (In fact, a Komen spokeswoman said, Trump has never given a personal gift of cash to the Komen organization.) He paid the bill with money from a charity he founded in 1987, but which is largely stocked with other people's money. Trump is the foundation's president. But, at the time of the auction, Trump had given none of his own money to the foundation for three years running.

His comment was perfectly reasonable in general, and a perfectly reasonable response given how out of place your post is here.

You're being a little overly feisty

when will you libs realize there are no brakes on this thing
