Can you elaborate?Yeah, and Obama getting elected had nothing to do with him being "cool."
I don't always get an obliquely drawn point.

I honestly think she was innocent to the idea that she was supposed to hate Michelle rather than admire her. I feel bad for her, that sounds like good faith on her part gone horribly wrong by an incompetent writer, a vicious press, and the outrageous political norms of today.Yep. That passage obviously resonated with her and reminded her of her own upbringing.
I was furious with him for allowing himself to be caught up in that tawdry sex scandal when he knew the Republicans were out to get him for anything they could.
I suppose you're right, and I do have love for the old freak.
We both love jazz after all

Solid post that resonates with my memory of those years. He’s such a charismatic figure you have to work not to like the guy. The thing is, he was also a scheister, and obviously had some self control issues. On top of that, while his record was generally pretty good, signing of the China Trade Agreement – or whatever the hell it was called, I honestly can’t recall off the top of my head – has impacted America as much as Bush’s legislation that kicked off the real estate crises of the late 00’s. Bill’s a guy that I love but as a president he has some pretty black marks on his legacy, but he had enough success paired with a very charismatic persona that make us forget about a lot of those black marks.
What don't you understand? You said shallowness might get Trump elected. But I'm guessing you had no problem with it when it got Obama elected. The irony is that this thread is about a shallow topic.
Ever seen the video below? These people don't know anything about politics, but they sure know a lot about irrelevant stuff (even when it's not even true).

Ha ha ha… That’s a good laugh. Yeah, it’s not exactly a surprise that the number of utterly uninformed and mislead voters that heralded in Obama’s presidency was high, but do you honestly think it was different before that, or now? There are videos going around showing supposedly educated college kids who don’t know the first bloody thing about what’s going on but are voting for Hillary because she’s has a vagina and, let’s be frank – you think it would be hard to make videos absolutely clowning Trump voters?
This is funny. This is sad. This is the norm. It has been for a long time. Yes, there were a lot of people who voted for Obama without knowing the first thing about him other than either his party affiliation or his skin color, but not much has changed in that regard for either party.
Agree, both sides have their idiots. I was just responding to the TS's comment that shallow voters might get Trump elected, as if it was something unique to Trump.

Hardly unique to Trump, but Trump's shallowness is unique, I'd say.Agree, both sides have their idiots. I was just responding to the TS's comment that shallow voters might get Trump elected, as if it was something unique to Trump.

He's certainly the most un-Presidential candidate I've ever seen.
Impressive; until now I've never seen anyone get rustled over being asked to expand on a post.
My apologies.
