You missed the total crapstorm over this, yeah it got discussed here thoroughly (probably too much). The Trump crowd tried to defend it, until it became indefensible, then ignored it and complained about Hillary. The much bigger news items now are email leaks showing the DNC completely shafting Bernie Sanders, Debbie W.S. stepping down from the DNC as a result, and then the strong possibility that the leak was a Russian op.

Yeah....she intentionally plagiarized a speech because she thought no one would ever know.

That is such a big issue the media should report on it 2 days straight and not mention trivial things like the DNC and journalists working together to control the news (which they still are avoiding reporting on)

The story from the Trump camp ended up being (and I believe them) that a speechwriter asked Melania to give her some thoughts about what she wants to say, and who she admires. Melania said she admired Michelle Obama, and the writer ended up copying several things that Michelle said.
