They are still permitted in cases of precocious puberty , the ban is for their speculative use in treating gender dysphoria and all the accompanying issues that tend to go with that .

Transgender athletes swept the board in a 1-2-3 at a prestigious women's cycle race over the weekend, infuriating fans and leaving female competitors in the shade.
Every medalist in the elite women's Madison at Washington's Marymore Grand Prix on Friday had a trans athlete on the two–person team, marking the first time trans women are known to have had a place on every podium spot in a race.
Race venue the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome in Redmond warns it will not tolerate 'bullying or derogatory comments especially related to race, creed, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, physical or mental disability'.
But the sight of the heavily-built winners towering over their rivals and teammates on the podium has dismayed fans of the sport.
'This is so egregious I can't imagine how people watched this happen and thought this was ok,' wrote one.

It was a pretty weak and ineffectual challenge by Joyon Maughams 'Good law Project' , it was pretty much doomed to failure from the beginning but he's got to keep his grift going and TRAs keep giving him money so he keeps on doing it regardless .

Ontario transgender (MtF) woman loses bid for government to pay for "facial feminization surgery". The arguments advanced are simply sad:
"11. By letter dated October 12, 2023, the Appellant appealed the Respondent’s decision on the basis that the requested surgery is medically necessary for her. She confirmed that the surgeries she seeks are a tracheal shave and brow reduction.
12. The Appellant wrote that her gender dysphoria is greatly impeding her daily life, that just leaving the house is a struggle, and that she is suffering and losing money because she feels unable to participate in society.

13. The Appellant stated that the medical consensus is that FFS is the only way for some people to alleviate their gender dysphoria.
24. In a reply to the Respondent’s submissions, the Appellant filed additional submissions dated March 20, 2024.
25. The Appellant reiterated that she hates being visibly transgender and she needs FFS to cure her gender dysphoria. She stressed that FFS can sometimes be a better way to alleviate gender dysphoria than genital and chest surgeries."

I'm sure having gender dysphoria greatly impedes someone's daily life, must be awful. So is having one leg. Nobody is telling a one legged person he has two just to not hurt his feelings. Having diabetes greatly impedes your life. Guess what? Nobody's problem but the diabetes sufferer.

Italian boxer Angela Carini broke down in tears after she abandoned her bout against Algerian Imane Khelif after 46 seconds in a fight that sparked huge controversy at the Olympics.
Khelif is one of two boxers permitted to fight at the Olympics despite being disqualified from the women’s world championships last year for failing testosterone and gender eligibility tests.
In highly-charged scenes at the North Paris Arena, Carini revealed afterwards that she had pulled out after after being hit harder than she had ever been hit before. A first punch dislodged her chinstrap and a second smashed against her chin and bloodied her shorts.
“I am heartbroken,” said Carini. “I went to the ring to honour my father. I was told a lot of times that I was a warrior but I preferred to stop for my health. I have never felt a punch like this.”

This was an interesting study. I’m curious if there are any other long term ones too. A sub 20% persistence rate of gender dysphoria is something to certainly take into account especially with prescription of hormone injections regarding minors.

Yes, those are all stylistic changes but they don't give people different social categorizations in society. You don't switch bathrooms or sports divisions due to the those changes.
The MJ race thing is weird. I don't think he ever claimed to be white. People claimed that he wanted to be white but I don't think he went around saying "I am white now".
