Social Toy Collectors Thread

Surprised only Mando Monday reveal today worth ordering for me was "clean and shiny" TVC Beskar Mando. Include me among the suckers to buy multiple variants of Mando. All the posts reporting Walmart canceling various pre-orders pushed me to pre-order this new Mando just in case.

I would have ordered a Greef Carga TVC. Carl Weathers sure aged better and more slowly than Stallone.

Its good , but it has that shiny plastic look that still makes it look like a toy, the paint wash in the select makes it looks like a more expensive figure, I think it makes him look like a creature from the Thing film.

Amazon exclusive Star Wars Black Series Credit Collection Mando has been popping in and out of stock a few times today. Along with Best Buy exclusive Heavy Mando they look really good in ending credits color scheme.
 
Opened my brand new Retro H.I.S.S. Tank! The canopy didn't click in place and trying to force the pegs resulted in the clear plastic having line impressions from my Lego brick separator. Not sure if I did it right since when closed, it's not closed and has a gap unless I click it shut.

I think Disney Store had 3 of those and a few of Venom. Looks like maybe same body mold. Proportions didn't look quite right, almost like NBA player.
 
I decided I'm going to try to start collecting magnets, novelty magnets like Star Wars, Marvel, location souvenir ones too. Not even sure what stores here carry what I want.

I initially thought I'd use magnets to put up some posters without frames.

I have a Kamen Rider tiny plastic magnet probably from a gumball machine from Tokyo, but don't know where it is.
 
Bought a Star Wars Black Series Gaming Greats Jango Fett for $19.99 during the Gamestop flash sale.

I now have:

Beskar Mando
Heavy Mando

and Mando Loyalist & Credit Collection Mando pre-ordered.

Saw Capt. Cardinal again, but really not wanting to pay $30 for a character I don't know anything about. Same for Pyre, but didn't see him.
 
Good choice. I'm curious how accurate that layout is to the actual TV Sesame Street.

They have a handful of Dragon Stars for deal price too. V2 SSJ Goku is $10, but doesn't look quite right and I already have the Gamestop shirtless one with tight joints. Ultimate Majin Bu is cheap.

I saw there's a new SHF First Form Freeza and proportions look good.
 
Was really looking forward to this Mando Monday, but just Black Series Remnant Stormtrooper impossible via Target exclusive and Black Series Mando cosplay helmet.

I watched the Clone Wars final season episode with Saxon Mando Super Commando and the Black Series really looks like a lazy repaint. The cartoon one was sleek. The repaint 6" figure is a bit short and pudgy. I liked the cartoon's unnamed generic blue and gray Mandos.

A while back I saw a bunch of Marvel Legends from Abomination wave where they looked like someone sat or fell on them and marked down to like $11 each and labeled as "repackaged", but likely just marked down due to possible damage and badly damaged packaging. I think maybe I should have bought the Captain Mar-vell cheap.
 
The Amazon Epic Daily Deals continues with a bit of various franchises, but end fast.

Star Wars Enfys Nest with bike is maybe half off. What was Hasbro thinking making that? Who wants that character? Amazon and Best Buy seem stuck with those they can't sell.

I kinda wanted the Overwatch Genji because of Metal Gear Cyborg Ninja, but prefer the Gamestop blue one.

I watched a Jazwares 3.75" scale Halo review and two of them had their heads break off. I guess I'll pass.

This Fri is another Hasbro live stream, with TF, Marvel, Star Wars.

The comic book deluxe Thanos is very tempting, but I'm not enough of a Thanos fan and sold out on HasbroPulse. The diorama backdrop is something they should have done for all figures.

Upcoming Mando Monday has to have those Bo-Katan Mando trio.
 
Dug up an old box and found the bulk of my old GI Joes! Also had in there really old beat up comics including GI Joe Yearbooks, Transformers Universe encyclopedia type issues, Marvel Universe issues, misc Avengers, Iron Man, Thing, Robotech, Alpha Flight #1, old New Mutants, X-Men vs. Teen Titans by Walt Simonson (my precious treasure and one of the first good comics I bought).

The weird thing is Duke is missing his crotch and I have v1 Hawk's crotch, but the rest of him is missing.
 
Didn't order anything this Mando Monday. Black Series Quiil seems too tall compared to Greef Karga and Moff Gideon.

I've been expecting Hasbro to reveal some cool new character that appeared in the most recent Mando episode. I think they did that last year with Heavy Mando.
