You guys ever order from Japan? Via the cheapest shipping?

I ordered Char's Zaku II 1/144 scale more than 3 months ago and still not here. I hope it wasn't stolen by postal service. They say the cheap shipping goes by surface and takes months, so I'm guessing they sail around Asia picking up stuff then come over here.

I was knocking around Akihabara and found this Kotobukiya statue in a shop. I snagged it and got the other half (Bucky as Cap) off Amazon.

Did you go through Ebay? I tried to order some figures from Hong Kong and mainland China, I never got them and wound up getting a refund through PayPal.

But...

When I order from Japan, this is my go to.

Not eBay. I ordered from legit Japanese online retailer in English. Everything else I ordered via cheapest shipping came within month or less after they shipped. This was one of the first times ordering after coronavirus messing with shipping and bad economy maybe making people steal more mail packages. Next time I might just pay higher shipping for tracking and insurance.

It's probably due to Covid. It's slowing down everything. I hope you get it soon.

I can understand delay before shipping, but it's shipped then big delay.

I saw a youtube review of McFarlane DC Arkham Knight Batman, and looks like that'll be the first McF I buy or try to buy. Too bad it's too tall for Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series.
 
Kept reloading the Walmart Mando Build Up Pack TVC page and it never changed from Out of Stock. Price at $29.12 is also offputting for what I'm guessing is Beskar Mando with alternate Din Djarin head and Baby Yoda.

Might buy Moff darksaber guy TVC later or in store, but not really excited to frantically attempt pre-order. I just opened regular Black Series Beskar Mando, so not likely to order instantly sold out via scalper bots Target BS Mando Build Up pack since already have original BS Baby Yoda.

Walmart.com seems incompetently put together compared to Amazon.
 
Walmart exclusive TVC Beskar Mando w/Baby Yoda up for pre-order after long delay. Price is around $17+, similar to TVC Amazon Sith Trooper extra weapons pack.

Too bad couldn't order Moff Gideon TVC with it to work towards free shipping.

G.I. Joe Retro H.I.S.S. Tank also popped in and out of stock today.

I only saw junk from one page that loaded.

Ordered a H.I.S.S. tank where I'm hoping the supply vs. demand is better now. A local store seemed to just get some in stock, but maybe $5 higher. I'm going to gamble my online order will be fulfilled and not try to buy one in store. There's a good chance if I drove out, they'd be all gone by the time I get there.

Also, passed on pre-order of pokey headed Mando Super Commando, but started getting the itch. Reviews said it's a junk Jango mold with limited movement. Not really wanting to pay almost $30 for it. The Mando Loyalist was an easy pre-order decision. The Marvel Legends 40th anniversary Iron Man, Capt Am, Thor started as Walmart exclusives, so maybe these will be sold elsewhere later.

I might need to buy this Snake Eyes Movie roleplay sword for $15.99. I suppose I could use it to fetch stuff that fell behind my desk out of reach. I think I heard on podcast clip it's the same mold as the past two G.I. Joe movie swords.
 
My Japan order (Zaku II) ended up arriving today after almost 4 months! Also arriving today: Zeta. Also got notice H.I.S.S. Tank shipped!

I guess maybe no need to worry about Retro Wave 2 Destro & Roadblock getting canceled.

Saw Black Series Credit Collection Cara Dune in nice re-paint color, but can't get motivated to buy a Gina.

Not sure if I should keep it or sell it and get Hot Toys Mandalorian. Figure is cool except for his tennis shoes. Thoughts?
 
I think today they revealed a nice DC McFarlane John Stewart Green Lantern. Not cartoon version.
 
I saw some newer Marvel stuff discounted on Amazon, but again, nothing I wanted or wanted only if price is right.

Watching Mando Season 2 motivated me to finally open my Black Series Archive Boba Fett. Not bad. Normal hips. I guess I don't really need the Kenner colors repaint, but would buy it if they did the repaint on the upcoming new tooled Boba Fett deluxe. Anyone gonna buy that at $29.99? I don't care much for the broken rifle or flame effect. I think the fanny pack belt is different from the Archive version.

I think I'll hold out for a retooled Jango Fett instead of pursuing Gamestop exclusive.

Can't wait to see what's to be revealed on next Mando Monday. Might need to buy a Boba armored Cobb Vanth. I like the yellow shoulder pads sticking out. At some point they have to make a Deathwatch or whatever Mando who rescued kid Din Djarin.
 
I saw a few pics of the upcoming Marvel Legends Retro X-Men Rogue Target exclusive and it doesn't look anywhere as fugly as the reveal pics. Also saw someone quote Hasbro marketing guy saying it's the same face sculpt as the first Rogue from BAF. Still doesn't look as good as Jean Grey from Love Triangle, but not that bad.

I kinda want to get the new Gambit too. Seems like Hasbro makes a shitty first version then a better one later to get people to buy twice.
 
I think Target has $10 gift card when you buy $50 worth of Lego.
 


I think I will get this one, size wise it doesnt fit with anithing else, but that sculpt and the price unbeatable.
