Help me identify this original early days or few years later Transformer. Not sure if knockoff.

Maybe 4-5 inches tall in robot mode. The transformation is just the legs connected at the soles of the feet folding 180 degrees at the hips to click to the head area maybe and it ends up looking like a block with short wings in aircraft/spaceship mode. The body is off white and the rest is teal. The wings are one piece on the upper arms and don't move.

Looks like this, but teal and off white. I don't recall the name Salt-Man X.

I also have a mini car that looks like a gray Ford Bronco and the transformation is basic like Bumblebee, Cliffjumper. Not sure if it's a Go-Bot.

"Profit Director" Destro in the house! Put some RESPECK on his name!

Gold foil accented packaging an the "cheetah" cape is actual cloth/faux fur.

VERY nice touches!

Do you have Baroness to be the ho?

How are your comic boxes so super white and not yellowed like mine?

They're the plastic long boxes. I got a few of them awhile ago from my local shop. I like them much better than the cardboard, but they cost a bit more.

I'm at the point where most of the plastic shopping bags I left stuff in many years ago are starting to flake apart into many tiny bits. One of the comic shops here closed permanently due to coronavirus shut downs.

Wow! Mine is still open for sales, but the Magic, Heroclix, Warhammer, etc. have been put on hold for now. There have been a FEW events, but everyone masks up. I only go to grab my comic because I don't want my wife to get sick. I buy my comics there because if you don't support it, it goes away...

The McFarlane DC Deathstroke and Arkham Knight Batman (doesn't look too bad) are up for pre-order.

I saw the new Disney Select 7" Boba Fett is quite a bit taller than Black Series.

Leaning towards not buying Storm Thunderbird 2 pack. Storm's boobs were made too small and the face doesn't look right. I do feel like I need 1st appearance Storm for the Giant Sized X-Men and John Byrne glory days Uncanny X-Men. Maybe they'll re-release at some point soon like Gambit.

You're going to be waiting a long time for a Storm figure with big boobs from Hasbro lmao. Best bet is hopefully one of the import companies does a figure more to your liking.

She's probably the best Storm figure that's been released at this point. The face sculpts and accessories are really nice. It's a really good release all around, aside from the non comic accurate proportions.

Thunderbird on the other hand, yikes. I get he's not a super popular character, but man his figure is the epitome of Hasbro laziness.

Amazing Yamaguchi Joker.

Talking about japanese figures, I always wondered if there is a real market in Japan for DC/Marvel figures or are they produced for international market??? To me Ben Reilly and Jean Paul Valley seem like obscure characters for Japan.

Ok, Hasbro won. I had a chance to buy, so bought at full price, so now Hasbro can begin mass production on the new 1st appearance Storm with medium sized boobs so they can get me to buy again.

I now have:

Marvel Select Colossus
Sunfire
Nightcrawler
Wolverine (too dark blue from love triangle 3 pack)
Storm
Thunderbird

I hope they fix Dark Phoenix Cyclops' head and re-release. Also could use a green & yellow Banshee.

Japan did have in Japanese:

Ninja Batman cartoon movie
G4 X-Men, Ironman, Wolverine cartoons

I feel like Sesame Street crossing over into Lego is bigger than Super Mario in Lego.

Yeah but those are the more famous characters all with live action films, on the other hand Ben Reilly and Azrael are only known by comic book fans, I really wonder if there are Japanesse collectoir that look for these figures.

Have you considered getting the Old Man Logan/Hawkeye 2 pack? That's a really nice release as both figures are well done. Only downside is Logan uses the shitty claws instead of the newer ones they've used for X-Force Wolverine or the movie figures. Speaking of the movie figures, those actually turned out much nicer than I thought they would.

Nope. It's always when you don't want to buy, you see lots in stock in stores. Never read those stories and didn't like any FOX X-Men movies, so zero appreciation for those. I did see one Hawkeye head looks decent on Magneto. By the time I realized FOX Cable could maybe make a custom Venom Snake, never saw it in stores again.

I don't remember ever seeing USA Marvel or DC comics in Tokyo, but I wasn't looking for them either.
