Top 3 MMA Heavyweights of all time: 1. Fedor 2. DC 3. Miocic

Lol, Ngannou has wins over 3 guys in that list. He has more accomplishments than Werdum and CroCop as well. What’s your reasoning to not include him even in top8 at HW, but to have CroCop there? CroCop’s best achievement was being the 3rd best guy of his time, lol

Cro Cop was #2 behind GOAT Fedor and above Nogueira on majority of rankings in 2003 & 2006, and on some in 2005. And he did not get his desrved chance to rematch Fedor because he simply could not reach him in 2007 due to politics and higher force. Mirko won one of 2 world titles that Pride had, he was world champion by tournament system.

Cro Cop has double ammount of good MMA wins than Ngannou, Cormier or Cain. If you become #1 with short career and short win list, it does not mean that you are automatically above all time than everbody else who were not #1, but have much richer and extensive careers.

Wasn't DC 2-2 in HW title fights in the UFC? His overall resume is probably better than any single HW but that's partially because HWs can't move up. I think the Fedor, Stipe, Werdum trio is pretty solid. Big Nog won titles in the UFC and PRIDE, that should count for something. Couture won the belt like three times.

Why the f*ck would you consider CroCop #2 at the time, when he lost both to Fedor and Nog? And he lost to Hunt and Randleman. You have to remember that UFC had HW’s at the time too. He was just a top5 guy. Here are some of rankings of that time.

CroCop also didn’t have more top wins than Ngannou. Ngannou had:

Stipe, Gane, Overeem, Blaydes x2, JDS, Cain, Rozenstruick, Arlovski

CroCop had:

Barnett x3, Igor, Coleman, Randleman, Herring, Wanderlei, Gonzaga

Stipe should at least be ahead of DC.

Wins over:
Reem, JDS, Francis, Werdum, and of course DC twice.

Agree. Cormier had a great career but as a HW Stipe clearly did more. I don’t hold the trilogy against DC because he was clearly shot by the end but Stipe beat Werdum and Francis, among others. Too much for DC to overcome in an abbreviated HW career.

Nog is ahead of DC IMO.

Those are not rankings of that time. Fightmatrix is computer generated 15 years later, it did not exist at that time, and has nothing to do how people viewed things at those times.

Here are original and genuine rankings from those times:

Fedor lost to guys that he would have beaten in his prime
JDS was able to beat Stipe when JDS still had it.
See how that works?

fedor is 32 years old
oldman stipe would have brutalized mw hendo at baldonado
whe are talking about past prime stipe
fedor lost when he was in his early 30s lol
thats how wide the skill gap of stipe is from fedor
fedors resume still look like trash if u compare it to stipes

Indeed he barely touched him + he got time to recover so your argument is totally pointless anyway.

I'm asking for a clear evidence such as this (i'm not asking for the Moon, just a very simple thing) :

miocic_cormier_eye_poke_ufc_252.0.jpg

There were hundreds of cameras, yet you can't bring a single picture of an eye poke...

Ask yourself this question and here's the answer : you can't because the evidence don't exist.

All what people have against Cormier are GIFs with bad angles, not a single clear and sharp evidence against him, nothing outside of GIFs from weird angles.

But here's the so-called eye poke under another angle anyway :

Anyone can check out the video at the lowest reading speed and see it's mostly bullshit (timestamped) :

I don't see any eye poke, you're just making a vague statement out of nothing.

Once again, there were hundreds of cameras, yet you can't bring a single clear and sharp evidence against Cormier.

No matter how blatant, I'm sure you'll never "see" an eyepoke. Miocic's retina just detached itself.

Report: Stipe Miocic sidelined until 2020 after suffering ‘major retina injury’ from Daniel Cormier eye pokes

This is my list for top 3 MMA Heavyweights of all time:

1. Fedor (obviously)
2. DC
3. Miocic

Do you agree? If not, why? And what is your list?

Opinions?

Discuss.

1. Fedor
2. Stipe
3. Big Nog

Nobody cares, injuries happen all the time in fighting sports.

https://www.sportsmed.theclinics.com/article/S0278-5919(09)00048-9/fulltext : i guess they still do eye pokes in boxing, right ? <36>

one of my fantasy fights would be Pride era prime Fedor vs prime HW champ Stipe. 2 of the GOATS goin at it in their prime. dont know who would come out on top.
i think the top 5 heavyweights in MMA has to include, in no particular order - Stipe, Werdum, Fedor, Big Nog, and DC. Cain acceptable as well.
