Tom Clancy's: The Division 2 - Official Thread

Problem is, I don't think anything except for what's on your person is going to be useful and that's just so you needn't storm the first lower-Manhattan hideout with your twig and berries out for AI target practice, lol. I saw already that lvl 31 gear is stronger than any previously rolled item from the current system. We old Division farts are fooked, buddy.

Even better! lol

It's going to be a slog to 40. I'm ready, though. Just give me that fresh content and I'm good to go.

Ok, ok... Ok.. Gimme a minute here..

So.. The gameplan is to scrap/breakdown/sell all of the stuff in the stash and start over fresh?

Pretty much. You're going to end up ditching it once you level up anyway.

Scores of dudes have been pissed about it so that's the plan as I understand it, lol. Embitterment really isn't in the gear going (though one-off legacy loot can sting, sure) but that they divvied the stat banks up without allowable interplay between them. Any drop or attribute you earned that came with a eureka moment isn't any longer exploitable or relevant – well, soon to be once you level. It's a kind mixed feeling for me of excitement and emptiness, lol. Weapons should be viable for a spell longer as you navigate the new content but my stash as is feels like a museum of valued items to me; safety nets and plan Bs of any sort, gone. I farmed Overlord hard over time and ended up making a friend or two out of how many times we ran select missions over and over. Dear stuff, you will be missed. Bye. XoXo Pretty sure I left unopened in excess of 50 caches so I hope to tear into those when the time is right and hit the ground running. No less jagged a pill to swallow, all in all.

Thanks for the replies...

I had better get some KICK@$$ gear come the 3rd!

Or else!

Watching this as I clear...

Out....

The...

Stash... :(

Just me or is this alternating polarity much ado about nothing? What a kick-in-the-pants minigame, lol. Hope I can turn that off but I see it's tied to dope rewards so they got us, lads.

Yeah, it's pure endgame content. I can't wait to see the madness that is Hardcore Heroic world difficulty with all of that shit on. I know some people are going to try it.

Finally had a chance to play for a bit last night and got a few story missions done plus some random exploration. Man, I didn't realize how much I missed the encounters and combat in this game. DC looks beautifully ugly. Need to keep grinding and get ready for the expansion this week. Glad to be back and I really should have jumped in sooner. The guns sound so good.

Was trying the college missions, but i'm either rusty or my old gear is too poor now

They're hard, brother. It's not just you. The leg where you defend a laptop, whatnot during download is rough – wave after wave and one need keep proximity all the while.

Yup, recently tried em for the first time and a lot happens during those waves. I usually post up in cover and blast away but lot of the enemies were going around and behind me. The parts where the objectives bounce between different laptops/terminals was fun.

It’s kind of nice though. I have a pretty decent build going, were CP4’s are no problem even when pulling patrols/convoys.

As far as the sound of the guns...

Get yourself the Dragunov SVD marksman rifle and thank me later. :) I've had many people say "WHAT IS THAT!?!?!?"

Will do. Up to 15 and just got a call from my boss that I don't work this week because of the Corona virus lol. Kind of surreal playing this game while that is going on. Time to turn off my phone and grind my face off this week. Perfect timing too with the expansion dropping!

I'm loving the level and encounter design. There's so much variety from room to room with different heights and avenues to flank.
