Media Tom Aspinall's eyes one day post surgery

One thing is certain: he claimed Brown Syndrome, but did some laser procedure in his eyes. Brown Syndrome is not treated with lasers. Somewhere in this story he's lying.
Tom used to wear glasses years ago until someone probably told him it was better for his image to wear contact lens so he stopped.

Then after the eye poke he pulled the glasses back out again 24/7 to make people suddenly think he needed a prescription because of it as they weren't used to seeing him with glasses.

Tom then gets LASIK and magically never wears glasses again having "fixed" what was "wrong" from Gane's eye poke instead of the fact he'd had shitty vision for years and never could see without corrective lens in the first place and just fixed that.

This is phenomenal detective work.

The next question is wondering if the real reason Tom freaked out and wanted out of the fight is because he was wearing contacts and the eyepokes dislodged/scratched them and that's why he could "no longer see". It was his contacts that were primarily compromised, not his eyes themselves.

Fighters like Rampage have talked about wearing contacts but being too scared to fight with them for that very reason. Fighters have to make their own risk calculation on which danger they find more acceptable: your contacts potentially getting fucked up mid fight or fighting with your shitty normal vision.

Of course, you'll get a hell of a lot less sympathy from everybody if you say you're refusing to continue because your contact lens is lying somewhere in the octagon... but this happening does become the perfect excuse to finally get LASIK so you never wind up in this position again

I'm just asking questions. But yeah, the glasses ruse post-eyepoke is 100% fake. Tom has always worn corrective lens but has been wearing contact lens in public for years. He knew people would think the glasses or LASIK were new and because of the eyepokes when in reality he's always had shitty vision

(now imagine him doing all those eye tests that he couldn't "see" if he wasn't wearing his lens for them...)

It's a bit far fetched. Fighting with contacts seems crazy to me, the risk is huge.
Plus, looking at the picture with his glasses, there does not seem to be a strong correction that losing a lens would leave him woth a serious handicap .

But definitely: he had imperfect eyesight before and milked the eye poke situation to have a LASIK and justify the off time.
And I doubt the UFC is liking that .

Is it confirmed that is it a LASEK surgery he got? Because then it's bullshit, anyone who doesn't want to wear glasses or contact lenses can get that surgery. And you will look like that afterwards, it is normal.
Sherdoggers like to pull things like that out of their ass when it fits their narrative. Don't be dumb enough to believe these morons.

This has to be one of the stupidest things you've posted on this topic and that's saying alot

You think the doctors who are looking at his eyes wouldn't notice a dislodged contact lens?

Do ever think through any of the stupid shit you post on here?

I'm not the one who apparently thinks that a doctor examining Tom's eye wouldn't notice a contact lens that is... no longer in his eye to notice.

I'd simmer down on talking about who's the dumbass around here.

You're right, I can quiet down about it. You're doing a plenty good job proving yourself as such.

You didn't even know Tom has been wearing glasses since at least 2021 and has always had vision problems that didn't suddenly appear after the eyepoke like Tom's pretending.

You're in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.

The doctor photo'd with Tom is literally a laser eye surgery specialist at a literal laser eye surgery clinic

Maybe try doing an ounce of research before calling people idiots for saying Tom got laser eye surgery from a laser eye surgery specialist at a laser eye surgery clinic?

Are you mixing me up with another poster or something?

Oh my god an actual Opthalmic surgeon who also offers laser eye surgery did Tom's surgery?!?!

Is his recovery supposed to be quick? He still has a 2 month camp + recovery time. If it's going to be a year to bounce back from this, the UFC should really move forward.

Yeah, just get Dana to provide his second Gift of Gane, another Legacy of Cowardice, and Rogaine can once again call "the undisputed HW Goat of Wife beaters."
