Say if these two somehow fight, who takes it in your opinion?

I think Aspinall wins this. I believe he takes him down and keeps him there. Although it is heavy weight and one hard hit and it could be over.

I believe Aspinall is a better fighter with just as good punch power, considerably younger.

He probably doesn't (I'm almost sure he doesn't) have the raw power Ngannou does, but it gets to a point where that doesn't matter. As long as you hurt guys when you hit them, whatever power you have is enough. Francis may hit harder, but Tom hits plenty hard enough to hurt and finish any HW. We've seen it over and over.

And yeah I agree, Tom is the better overall fighter. He's younger, faster, and just plain the more likely to land the fight-altering shot.

I’ll take Tom, he’s got youth on his side and a more well rounded game. I can see it going a lot like the first Stipe fight but more successful.

Ngannou is pretty much retired and would be coming back for a payday after fighting part time for the past few years. I don’t see him making any waves if he decides to step back into the cage

I lean towards Tom, mostly because of his fight age, and the unknown factor, but I cannot for the life of me understand the overabundance of faith that everyone here has in him.

His resume simply does not support it. His best win is Volkov, who's only top 5 because the division is so shallow. Shallow as the division is, he still hasn't been Gane and did not beat a 300 year old Miocic when he was around- two things that Ngannou did.

Fuck it, Ngannou, because he is an actuality, not a potentiality.

Rates to be a very easy win for Aspinall who is much younger than Ngannou, has taken far less damage than Ngannou, and is better at every single aspect of MMA than Ngannou except for punching really hard, where he's effectively tied since they both punch more than hard enough for any MMA purpose. Ngannou has a puncher's chance, but not a particularly good one.

Aspinall has more ways to win and is much faster and can easily knock him out.

Aspinall wins at least 7-8 out of 10 times.

Right now I'd take Tom. Frank is beginning to age, hasn't fought a lot in the last few years. Granted, Tom hasn't either, but he's not getting close to 40. A few years ago, would have been an interesting fight, and probably would have taken Francis.

Frank has a punchers chance, especially with the way Tom likes to run in chin up. But I'd probably go with Tom's youth, speed, and overall game
