I'm a Gane fan and I don't know how you can say this. Alex has shown to be able to get back to standing off his back multiple times now and Gane has shown that he can't.

There isn’t a “bigger” fight. Not with the fighters that aren’t injured. I suppose they could have Aspinall/Gane. But Aspinall/Alex is a superfight. Featuring the two heaviest weight classes. It headlines over any other realistically possible fight.

I don’t like it because someone has to lose lol. They’re probably my two favourite active fighters, and it’s a terrible match up for Alex as long as Tom doesn’t let bravado convince him not to attempt a takedown.
