Tom Aspinall loves the fact that there is very little tape on him.

Aspinall (15-3) is scheduled to defend his heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane (13-2) in the main event at UFC 321 on Oct. 25 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Aspinall has finished all 15 of his career wins thus far, going past the first round only once. Heading into his 10th Octagon appearance, Aspinall has a fight time of hardly over 25 minutes combined.

Aspinall believes the lack of footage on him is one of his biggest advantages. “Honey Badger” says people have seen only a minimal percentage of his entire skillset thus far. On the contrary, fighters with lengthy fights give away a lot of reads for future opponents.

“If I can go through my career and nobody seeing anything, that’s ideal for me because each long fight the opponent gets to see more and more,” Aspinall told RMC Sport Combat. “This is my 10th UFC fight, but the percentage that people have seen is only 10–20% of what I can actually do. That’s one of the biggest advantages I’ve got, that nobody knows what I can do.”

i mean he's right. the more footage there is to see the more time people have to recognize the patterns and habits. the more time they have to develop tactics and strategies to take advantage of these patterns/habits.

but in HW division there's always 1 guaranteed way of winning, hit the other guy in the head enough times and he'll go to sleep.

"Knocking everyone out early is because he's scared of his poor cardio and lack of defensive grappling."

-The collective genius braintrust of Aspinall haters on this forum.
Tom himself just said it's a good thing nobody's yet seem him have to do any of those things, and you're out here still pretending Tom might not look very different if he's the nail and not the hammer.

How many times this week has Tom himself disagreed with you now? This and the DC comments are at least twice. I'd be melting down too after all Tom keeps telling you off.

Your clown shoes interpretation of what he says is so typical of you, little marky.

What he said was that when he finishes people so quickly over and over, it's good because it gives less film on him for opponents to study.

Who do you think you're fooling by twisting that into "Aspinall is scared to find out what happens if he goes later into a fight."

You have a serious addiction to embarrassing yourself on this topic.

Jon Jones said he'd retire after Stipe while Tom was still coming off his loss to Blaydes and wasn't even in contention.

Real Nostradamus that Tom was.

And then Aspinall won 2 in a row by KO, including winning the interim belt and defending it by knocking out Blaydes in rd 1. And Jones could've retired anytime after he beat Stipe but drug it out for a year praying that he could weasel into defending vs someone other than Aspinall. And when it was made clear that wasn't happening, he "retired" for 10 minutes until Aspinall had a fight booked and then magically decided he wanted back into the testing pool.

Only the most delusional (see: you) would fail to see what happened here.

God you're obtuse. That's literally exactly what that means. Tom's opponents being able to be better prepared for him from having seen him tested, and then having more cage time with him themselves, means they're more likely to beat him.

This isn't that hard. Tom prays everyday for opponents as dumb as you are.

Thats quite the cope my friend. I hope you are ok.

Wait so Aspinall DIDN'T retire Jones if he's not retired right now like you guys are all circle jerking likes to?

No, it isn't. He's talking about tendencies he might have. How he counters a certain thing an opponent does.

You're an absolute idiot that you think you can twist that into him being worried about his cardio or defensive grappling and that anyone would buy it.

"That's literally what that means!!!" Fuck are you stupid. Like...painfully so.

Seems like Aspinall said he'd take the belt from Jones one way or another. Who has the belt? Jones did announce his retirement...or did you miss that?

You're taking a victory lap because he unretired once he knew he could avoid fighting Aspinall?🤣🤣🤣

Even for you, this one is precious.

Even the likes of you have to cringe at Aspinall saying 10-20%....

How the hell would any of us know? Maybe hyperbole, why would you fixate on that one small thing in a larger point? (Nevermind, I know exactly why).
