I meant more fans are upset that Tom may be exaggerating his injury than at Gane for blatantly trying to eyepoke him multiple times.

No sport I follow has that level of ignorant fans. I can't imagine if a player tried to eye gouge another in BB, and fans were more upset that the victim was overplaying an obvious injury, more than they were at the person causing it.

I'm not even an Aspinall fan, neither was I rooting for anyone in the fight. But to see Gane just blatantly eyepoke him, get away without any consequence and see fans turn on Tom for getting possibly overplaying the eyepoke (although I truly believe it wasn't safe for him to continue the fight) is just ludicrous to me.
