War Wagon Tom Aspinall’s astral hell

Ok, how much do you think the eyepokes compromised his vision by?

And what threshold would be acceptable for someone to not want to continue a fight after an illegal eyepoke? 10% worse, 20%, 50%, 90%?
I Think he was actually very minimally compromised. Percentage wise maybe like 10-15%. Him immediately saying "I can't see" and REFUSING to take his 5 minutes to recover is the biggest tell. I think 99% of the UFC roster takes the 5 minutes to re-asses the situation. Tom wanted out immediately. I think that says more about his heart than the severity of the eye poke.

Ok how are you determining that it was 10-15%? Based on other eyepokes you've seen?

And since you missed my last question, what percentage would be acceptable for a fighter to not want to continue?

He should get two eyes tattooed under his chest to confuse Gane in the next fight. Just a temporary one to last 5-6 pokes will do.
And a nose on the back of his head so the great Cyril can't find the back of it.<mma4>

Not a bad idea, but it'd be better to put it eye tattoo. Cyril and his whole corner won't go which one to target.

I thought about that, I wonder if Aspinall will get face tattoos like that dagger Garbrandt just got
For sure he is, once the next is done and they realize people still don't give a shit, they start scribbling shit on their face hoping for attention. Tome is going to start with the jawline crap and something over one eyebrow.

Based on the facts I've already mentioned. To put it in percentages when that's literally undeterminable is dumb. Leon vs Belal is an example of a legitimate eye poke stoppage, though.

That was one of the red flags where he started to lose me as a fan. He arrived in the UFC as a humble lad and all of a sudden he's asking to finger Nina and getting ridiculously fake veneers and neck tats, like every other MMA degenerate who comes into some money. Was like he was chasing a look and attitude that didn't fit his real personality.

Ok so you don't know how affected Tom's vision actually was, it's just an opinion based on other eye pokes you have seen on TV. Fair enough.

Again, what's the threshold at which it would be ok for a fighter to stop according to you.

You can believe Tom isn't faking all you want, doesn't affect me.. it just makes you gullible. Read the room, everyone can see he's full of shit. He wouldn't be releasing 40 min documentaries to justify his quitting if he wasn't full of it. I don't know why you're trying to put a threshold on eye pokes, that's what the ringside physician is paid for, and he examined the eye and saw no damage and told him he could continue fighting, Tom chose not to.

I'm asking you about a threshold to understand and quantify your rational. It'd very weird if you didn't have one or never thought about it considering you have such a strong opinion.

But I can even simplify it for you with an example: If a fighter's vision is compromised by 60% (ie he has 40% vision left), would it be ok for him to not want to continue the fight?

Don't worry it's not a trick question, just a yes or no will do.

I think the face tattoos thingwould be appropriate. Do it for the homies that have seen through the pain and adversity. If Tom went to that extreme I may still think it’s all an act still but the DEDICATION to the role would win me over. Also if he came out escorted to the ring with a bandanna covering his eyes with just an eye painted in the center that’s what I want to see. COMMITMENT OVER QUITMENT
