Today Was The First Time I Truly Seen Jaws

Not sure what you mean, go look up the Jaws 4k reviews. It looks as good as it ever looked, compare that to the god awful Terminator 4k.
It's not a waste, if they hadn't taken up the massive effort to restore the badly deteriorated original negative you wouldn't be able to see such a high quality image in ultra high resolution.

The Metal Gear solid remaster for gamecube and Resident Evil 4 for wii were awesome.
Playing super nintendo games in 1080p on analogue Super NT is awesome.

Did you get the 50th anniversary 4k edition?

Simply put, with movies at home, I'd suspect it depends on the TV.

Games? Remakes are what you want, not remasters.

Bigger boat?
Soft hands, Mr. Hooper?
Eyes like a doll's eyes?

so many quotables.

No, I got the 45th anniversary 4k edition with the lenticular cover.
It's the same 4k scan.

Yeah, I have very good quality LG 4k OLED tv as well as a very good Samsung 4k player which is also important for having the best image possible.

I got the same one.

Watched it last night on blu ray since I have no imax near me and the only option was 3d for $22+ a ticket. Fuck that.

Wish i had popcorn.

One of very few movies thats an absolute perfect 10. As flawless as a movie can be.
Agreed 100%.

Can't believe speilberg pulled these actors and John Williams, given he was such a nobody at the time, showing his inexperience with all the production problems. The movie is so perfect, you can hardly tell of any fuckups....besides the barrels.

Shaw i think was biggest at the time and likely why speilberg let him drink.

If theres any AMC around you they offer a subscription for $25 a month and you can see up to 16 movies/4 movies per week for free including imax/3d/dolby

I think Regal cinema offers a similar deal.

Its all Regal here and I dont think the showings that extra 'perks' are part of the deal.
