Today Was The First Time I Truly Seen Jaws

I did 2001 & Apocalypse Now in IMAX. Absolutely a different experience. IMAX should be showing these classics on the regular, year round.

I'd rather pay to rewatch old Hollywood classics in a theater environment than 95% of the new crap thats been released over the past decade

I had a chance to see 2001 a few years ago and I skipped it. It would have been my first time ever seeing it too. Definitely a missed opportunity for sure.

Also I agree. The 4 best movies I've watched in theater this year, 3 of them were rereleased classics (Godfather (2x), ET and now Jaws)

I would love to see more films being released in 4K, Dolby or IMAX.

Probably the scariest movie of all time. Think about it, it changed the way people thought about going in the water. Nobody stopped to think ohh I might get bit by a shark before. It’s so rare (back then now with climate change they are coming closer to the shallows) it was never a big deal.

imo Jaws is the scariest and it’s not even close.

Never seen the movie. Could it belong in an October Halloween themed movie month?

Yes definitely. If you truly never seen it I honestly would watch it in IMAX for your first time. You'll wanna thank me later.

I have seen it probably a dozen or more times but I never really seen jaws until today.

It's in IMAX right now I strongly suggest to any fans of the film

GO SEE IT NOW

I legit got scared at a particular scene that has never made me jump. It's just a different experience.

I'm going to see it again either tomorrow or Monday.
There is a 7:10pm showing today, in IMAX, and I'm debating seeing it. Have not watched since like the late 80s (I think). Caught about 1/2 hour of it a few weeks back while I was in a hotel (on a end of summer road trip).

Dude watch it. I promise you 100% you will love it. If not you can slap @revoltub in the face.

I never got to see it in theater but it was great on vhs quality dusty wood framed box televison

Check out jaws bro. It was truly a different experience for me.

Tarantino was right when he said you never watched a film until you watched it in theater.

Bring on more of the classics
