Tito Ortiz Backs FBI Director Kash Patel’s plan to have UFC fighters lead FBI training

I hate to be the contrarian; but if Tito Ortiz agreed with me on anything, I’d seriously reconsider the factors that lead me to that conclusion.
- Tito is punch drunk. He used to be a pretty good talker. Same with James Tonney!:(

I disagree. It’s not a fight. FBI arrests happen in groups and they all have guns are leverage. It’s not two guys fighting toe to toe in a controlled environment. Hiring UFC fighters to train all the agents would just be a waste of money.
- I dont. They could hire Physical education professionals aka sport science pros.

I mean, if you have to arrest someone and subdue them, then yes, you are. Just what do you think they do? Not every situation is a shootout.
The idea it would even be cost effective to use UFC fighters to train agents is hilarious. They would have to be ready to train beyond the basics for years to require that level of expertise, which they aren't going to do because it isn't necessary. The fact that UFC fighters train them isn't going to teach them the basics any better than anyone else.

Trump should have yelled "Just BLEED" when he got shot at

"Government contracts with FBI"
2404x1803!

We all know the UFC will get the lions share of this contract and not the fighters, right?

Cheeto Ottis should run for the presidency to replace Trump and other Trumpian leaders it will be a much better than what you have today.

What do they mean "lead" FBI training? Being an FBI agent involves more than knowing how to take a suspect down to lay and pray so I'm guessing they're not actually going to lead all of the training. Can't hurt to learn some take downs and strikes but it should be an afterthought to everything else involved. I'd think getting combat sambo instructors would be better than MMA fighters though.

Next headline: FBI agent gets shot trying to shoot a double leg on an armed perp.

Isn't this just a stupid headline for the feeble minded? I mean, law enforcement have been training in BJJ and MMA for years. This is nothing new. Many departments offer it free to everyone who job might find the need for it.

Have we heard Tito propose how many days a week agents would required UFC training?

Would it be 6 days a week or 5 days within those 6 days, or 3 days within 6 days of the week?

and how much will it costs US tax payers. 110 % from federal funding, or 100% of 110 % ? (all mental)

While agents reportedly believe newly appointed FBI director Kash Patel’s plan to have a UFC-led training program is “surreal” and “wacky,” one former champion describes it in a different light.

“I think it’s a brilliant idea,” UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz said Friday on “Fox & Friends.” “But make sure you get the right fighters.”

what do yall think?
