Alex Pereira will be fighting for the fifth time starting on November 11, 2023

Him and Dricus are total units, good coporate employees to the UFC.
And they are exciting fighters for the fans to watch. those 2 and illa are my favourite champs right now

Honestly, Alex fuckin hard carried the UFC during this period if he wants the jones fight to retire of off after this fight he would be given just that opportunity if the universe was a fair and dignified place (it isn't)

Fought at 291, 295, 300, 303, 307 and now 313. Champions need to fight 3 times a year. Enough of this 1 time per year shit.
The inactivity of champions is what makes me miss the tournaments style of the original UFC or tournament seasons Pride would do.

UFC should be like other sports. Who was the champ this year or this season.

If the champ doesn’t wanna fight, a new champ will be crowned each season either way. The show goes on.

He's not young. Striking while the iron is hot. This is the most he's ever been paid in his long career. And it's clear he's trying to maximize it
the other side of it, the smart side of it.....

If you take a snapshot of the division you're championing at the time you win the belt as champion and you see a lot of names you think are easy for you to beat, It's a very very wise move to just be as active as you can while you are at your best before you age out, before you break down. Merab is going to do this too because he knows, bank on it. I expect him to fight atleast 2 more times this year.

That was what I was thinking also, he's already 37 and has a 33-7 kickboxing record before coming to MMA. I don't think he's going to keep fighting in his 40s like Randy Couture.
