Tito confident he'd smesh Poatan

I feel like prime for prime Tito gets a counter to his big ass head that puts him out.

But who knows really? This is why MMA is so compelling.

Chuck to Tito: You CANT take me down, and if you stand with me, I'm gonna knock you the fuck out.

But this was a time of Gods and Kings. The Huntington Beach Bad Boy would destroy Poatan
Lol
Cute post
But i dont think so

They didnt remaster them. They just "adapted" it to play without having to use the DS split screen.

I mean i want these games to look and run on proper modern hardware, not washed out graphics and sound made for dated portables. Esp the GBA ones, ugh!

Like look at how a game like Dead Cells or Blasphemous looks and feels.

Make the details and the speed on these games like THAT
Dead Cells was excellent. Try these as well if you like the Metroidvania style
Oddly, all 3 have a vatiation of death in their title

I don’t think a prime Tito beats Pereira even though I recognize he was legit in his time.

At the same time though, I don’t mind that he thinks he could. These guys are alpha fighters who were considered by many the cream of the crop in their hay day. I don’t expect them to say “oh yeah this younger generation would whoop me back in my prime.” Their pride won’t let them and I get it’s hard to let go of that fire knowing they were once on top of the world in MMA. I know a lot of people hated on Chuck for saying he could beat Jones in his prime way back when, but that was the same concept for me. I get it.

That being said, Poaton by TKO.

Tito would get Ko'd unconcious while attempting. Poatan is training a lot of grappling now so counting him out even in grappling is not the best idea. Tito was more of a take down IF HE CAN and ground and pound, not necessarily a takedown technician.

Bro I was talking about Tito
My bad G. I agree Tito would have gotten his head caved in.

People also aren't giving enough credence to just how much larger the guys in the weightclasses have become as they've become better weight cutters.

Guys like Tito, Chuck, and Randy had an inherent advantage being wrestlers and being used to taking weight off, they didn't have to deal with 6'4" granite statue champion kickboxers at 205.

Idk, Pereira did pretty incredible against Ankalaev in their first fight wrestling in reverse

5 rounds is a long time for Tito to not get tagged and taken out

Poatan has impressed me with his defensive grappling and Tito was always a dogshit striker.

Big Ank is the best wrestler in the LHW top 15 and he couldn't take down Poatan down even once in 6 rounds of fighting.
Yep, and Jan Blachowicz, a 40-year old striker, took Poatan down 3 times in 3 rounds. So people saying prime versions of Tito and other wrestlers wouldn't be a threat don't have a leg to stand on.

Tito does have a the proper fighting style that would present serious problems and Poatan just hasn't fought any grapplers just strikers so it gives an impression that he's insane KO artist that can't be stopped, not saying Tito would win but I think a prime version would be Poatan's toughest opponent yet and there is a real chance he could lose absolutely.

Prime vs Prime Tito represents some interesting problems for Alex , also it dosent hurt that prime Tito had an elite level chin

And Ank isn't a great wrestler.
So if he's primarily a grappler, and not a good one...how is he a top 5 LHW that held the belt?

I stg fight fans be getting some second hand brain damage through osmosis just from following the sport
