Tito's head is too big of a target to miss. Also love how this thread is a compilation of comments just roasting him lmao
Tito is a top 35 fighter all time I think. 5 title defenses is a great accomplishment. Some nice wins on the resume like Belfort, wand, Griffen etc.I've been saying Tito or Couture would be very tough opponents for Poatan since he moved to LHW. Of the two, I think Randy has the better shot as he was simply better overall with a superior Fight IQ. But it's possible Tito could win. He beat prime Wand and Belfort.
Yep. He also finished Guy Mezger, who gave Liddell, Wand and Big Nog very tough fights a couple of years later. And he went to a draw with prime Rashad and beat Bader in a crazy upset late in his career.Tito is a top 35 fighter all time I think. 5 title defenses is a great accomplishment. Enough alreadyLmao now resorting to homophobic jokes. Are you 12 or some 20 something who still lives with their mother?

This idea he was a complete buffoon who would get destroyed by the entire current LHW roster isn't true. He was one of the truly big early LHWs (he wouldn't be dwarfed by modern 205'rs), had great cardio and was one of the better athletes of his era.
I didn't either. I actually like him better now than in his prime years.Well said mkt, you make our infamous sifu John Hess proud.
That being said, i never liked Tito..
Your*I'm not the one who sounds brain damaged. You're second sentence is barely literate.
Who says Ank is primarily a grappler? And what other good grapplers has he outwrestled to prove that? For example, Jones outwrestled Bader, Cormier, the Janitor, etc.. Couture outwrestled Tito and Randleman, etc.
Ank is a well-rounded fighter who has a competent grappling game, but hasn't melted anyone with his wrestling nor has he submitted anyone in the UFC. He was submitted by Paul Craig, though. And he went life and death with a 40-year old Jan. He's good, but he's also fighting in a weak LW era. I don't think he'd be Top 5 in the prime years of Jones, Cormier, Rumble, Gustaffson, Davis, etc.
This is very true, almost all the top guys in each weight class nowadays would have fought at a weight class higher 15-20 years ago.My bad G. I agree Tito would have gotten his head caved in.
People also aren't giving enough credence to just how much larger the guys in the weightclasses have become as they've become better weight cutters.
Guys like Tito, Chuck, and Randy had an inherent advantage being wrestlers and being used to taking weight off, they didn't have to deal with 6'4" granite statue champion kickboxers at 205.
