Media Tito says that in his prime he'd beat champ Pereira + other current top LHWs

Dont think he'd beat Poatan or Ank and maybe not Jiri (he'd have an okay shot against them in a 3 rounder though) but he'd beat most of the others imo.

All the "evolution" shit gets so overblown.
 
Tito would be a problem for a lot of HWs today because it is weak in wrestling, but he exaggerates his prowess.

this ^^ outside the ring Tito as dumb as doorknob but in his prime he was a killer... the chuck fight he tried stand and fought diff.. there was lot beef between the 2 at that time etc.. Randy was just a bigger Tito... you know you getting older when only thing left talk about is glory days heh

Sherdog is full of retards, Tito probably beats Alex and its not because Alex sucks. Tito was a good wrestler, strong as hell, and had a granite chin. He fought guys who were strong and better grapplers than Alex. Could Alex KO Tito? Yeah, but the higher likelihood Tito takes him down since a shit tier wrestler like Jan could at will is far more likely.

Tito is a bumbling dipshit, but we've already seen Alex struggle with much worse grapplers. Tito thinking he could beat him isnt far out. Also LOL @ Glover's old ass being better than a prime Tito. The same era he got beat by Ed Herman. Glover was awesome but only because he was the washed old guard beating up the "new generation" of weakass LHW's.

In the world where someone talks about fighter X in their Prime takes on fighter Y. How is this hard to understand?

Alex, Jiri, Ank, Ulberg and Khalil are the top 5 according to the UFC rankings.

Tito is a massive favourite over Alex and Khalil. Cake walk type of massive favourite. Ulberg has never even faced a wrestler. Ank would be a tough match up. You seem to be confusing dumb Tito with being the same as Tito in the cage in his prime.

Alex and Khalil would stuff those same takedowns and for sure have better knees and strikes than Tito. It's not that hard to understand.

one of those match ups that would surprise people imo. there is a great chance tito gets slept big time. but there is also a great chance tito dominates and gets a sub or grinding finish.

the strikers like chuck and machida that beat up tito had good grappling awareness and defense. both in the clinch and on the ground.

say what u want about LHW past title holders and their skill sets, LHW right now is a fuckin joke of a division. and has been for a long time

His Prime was much earlier. Not sure what's so hard to understand about that? You think Khalil or Alex have the TDD of Nog? GTFO

Prime Tito and that Tito were the same. He had limited striking and his takedowns were not set up but rather him crashing forward and relying on strength. I dont know why that is so hard to understand about that?

Alex picks him apart standing, sprawls or clinches, knee him and separate for more striking. He angles and uses footwork and Tito doesn't have chain wrestling or tools to adopted. Plus Tito is a front runner and wilts when his one and only path to victory does not work.
