As someone who played SOTN when it came out in 1997, this game looks and sounds worse.

Even Castlevania 3 looks and sounds better.

I would be stoked as all fuck if they gave all the GBA and DS games a remaster

That would make my whole year.

They didnt remaster them. They just "adapted" it to play without having to use the DS split screen.


I mean i want these games to look and run on proper modern hardware, not washed out graphics and sound made for dated portables. Esp the GBA ones, ugh!

Like look at how a game like Dead Cells or Blasphemous looks and feels.

"Prime" Tito from say 2000 to 2006 would not have much for the Poatan of now and the last few years. He'd be lucky to get more than a takedown or 2 for as long the fight goes before Poatan knocks him into next century.

Tito is (obviously) an absolute moron nowadays but he's probably doing some sort of mental gymnastics that in his mind, when he was at his best, if a hard hitting kickboxer with limited wrestling and ground skills, from that same 2000-2006 period, were put in there with him he would win. And in that case he's right, there weren't any kickboxers with a few years of MMA training that were beating him in that period. The only guys who did beat him during that run were Chuck and Randy and Chuck had superior striking and great TD defense and Randy had superior wrestling/grappling.

But these guys can't let it go, like 5-6 years ago Chuck was saying that in his prime he'd beat Jon Jones. Umm no Chuck, you wouldn't cuz you'd never land that bomb in the first place as Jones would control distance too well, and even if you did, JJ has one of the best chins in history so you aren't one-shotting him. To be fair, I do agree that Poatan against a solid wrestler would really struggle. That said, Tito's not the man to get that job done.

I've been saying Tito or Couture would be very tough opponents for Poatan since he moved to LHW. Of the two, I think Randy has the better shot as he was simply better overall with a superior Fight IQ. But it's possible Tito could win. He beat prime Wand and Belfort.

I'm in agreement, LHW doesn't even have an elite wrestler nowadays so we really don't even know how an extended ground fight would look.

There is no DC, Jon Jones or Randy Couture in the division. There isn't even a Ryan Bader, Rashad Evans, Phil Davis or Glover Texeria.

Big Ank is the best wrestler in the LHW top 15 and he couldn't take down Poatan down even once in 6 rounds of fighting.

The only game i could recommend is bloodstained, but IMO it's a bit too easy. that genre is a bit saturated at the moment.

I think people really underestimate Poatan and he's much harder to handle in the wrestling that they think. These guys like Tito think its so simple just to come in and take him down right away.
