When properly calibrated, they're the most accurate method available. Digital has more chance of being wrong/manipulated.Why do they use those old school scales still?

Too many variables using digital (especially for weighing people). Digital affected by humidity, temperature, elevation. Analog not so much.Properly calibrated digital scales are used in every scientific setting now.
