A lot of great scenes in The Untouchables.

But I thought this one was bone chilling.

De Niro at his best here.



Great scene. The real life incident it was based on was even more brutal. Capone actually beat three men to a pulp with the baseball bat. His goons then dragged them out of the room and finished them off.

Although it's pure fiction, my favourite scene in the movie is the rooftop scene.

"Where's Nitti?"

"He's in the car..." :cool:
 
deniro could get real dark with his acting. I was just getting into him at that time and really couldn't recognize him from other movies. He looked fatter to me than he did in Raging bull.

I remember a female morning show host who asked someone who interviewed deniro if he scared her, she had that quizzical look on her face that women get when they are looking at a man they don't understand, I've gotten that look many times and deniro has probably frightened a lot of women viewers.
