It's a long scene, more like a compilation of scenes.

But I love this, my favorite scene in the film.

Just love the tension you feel and desperation at times you feel during this scene.

It's brilliant directing and acting by everyone.

Classic scene imo.

It was shot well but it was predictable. When I saw that they separated the two of them and that Carlito was checking out that door that was slightly ajar, I knew shit was going down.

I know what you mean, it was definitely predictable, but it's a great nonetheless. It shows Carlito hasn't lost a step and was ready for trouble to happen.

8/10 it's basically this same scene, same director, same lead.

This is your 10/10. Better in every way possible. The naive primo in CW was a downgrade. Pepe Serna was a much better choice for the role. The Colombians make your skin crawl in SF.

I know what you mean, but I prefer Carlito's Way over Scarface. Carlito seems more realistic to me compared to Scarface, which is cartoonish at times.

Sorry, bro. Couldn't get through the whole scene. Kristi Noem kept interrupting to tell me about Donald Trump and the border.

Yeah I love CW, but scene for scene, SF did it better. The fact that it was Depalma and Pacino again 13 yrs later tells me they were going for a Puerto Rican version of SF in NYC.

Those Colombians in SF were the clincher for me. I've met folks like that living down here in So Fla. They live minute to minute with no regard for human life.

Meh. Definitely not thread worthy.

Solid film though. Do better Tidwell.
