It appealed to a wide audience. My dorky math teacher loved it and showed it in some of his classes, and he didn't like the action. He was against all action on film (ultra dork).

very good intro but if you've already seen the movie, there's flaw in the storyline. Why the agents just not taking over the first unit's body that sent up?

Not the best of all time, but it does set up very important elements of the film with pretty much no dialogue. At the same time, it creates a mystery that draws you in right away. Pretty genius filmmaking.

True. It does reallly draw you in. And it’s one of those scenes that doesn’t make a ton of sense until you learn wtf is really happening, which I love.
