As a kid I loved it and I still do.
This was a good watch

Ive noticed more drawbacks in t2 than t1. For one, the fuckin hard on Cameron has for blue lighting kills me. When you see it in every movie he makes, i mean, look what he's doing now, its distracting.

2nd there's almost no horror. I'm biased here though, but it helps call for the sequel.

3rd, lots of slow parts, which is odd to say for the movie, however, it's true.

Actually curious on this argument..
I would pay real money to see Aliens without the blue tint.

T2 is a goddamned masterpiece, you bitches.

To anyone who thinks otherwise, James Cameron shits in your mother's mouths, before impregnating them with your new half sibling.

And event if I wasn't extremely drunk, I'd fight anyone who said otherwise.

You motherfugkers

I think i had this weird jealousy towards Edward Furlong. He's only a year older than me. I think my perspective was skewed by feelings towards him. Now that doesn't influence anymore. I gave it a solid 8, after not seeing the whole film in decades. Probably since the 90s.

You was Jealous of the relationship he had with his Atari Portfolio???

I rewatched T2 last night to see what all the fuss was about, it was alright, but holy moley did it have one of the most horrific "When expectations meet reality" moments of all time when it showed a grown up bad ass future soldier hero John Connor in the beginning of the movie

It took my clothes, boots and motorcycle

Interesting fact: Arnold wasnt' allowed to voice himself in the german version of Terminator... supposedly his regional accent is akin to a country hillbilly to Germans and it would have been goofy AF.

Any germans here that can confirm this?

I love the blue lighting.

one of the GOAT movies.

Sure I prefer the horror tone of the first, but there really is nothing to complain about here. This is masterclass filmaking.

Once we know what the Terminator is, you cant just go and make the same movie again, and Cameron leaned hard to expand the lore in a very compelling way. He did the same with Aliens. He's the GOAT at doing that.

You know how many kids were fuckin heartbroken when Arnold had to get lowered into the pit of lava?????!?!?

A character who used to be a villain!!!!!!!!!

who even fucking cares about movie characters like that now??

A FUCKIN ROBOT!!!!

GREAT FILM

tbf it was barely recognizable at first sightings, so thats a little plus
Yeah your not really even thinking about it when watching it

Why not keep the audience guessing about what could be hunting them?
No one even remembers that space ship once the movie starts. It is not a flaw.

This is just some hindsight shit.

I saw this in theatre and the amount of "holy fuckin SHIT" moments destroys anything the nay sayers have!

It's a 10. I guess I'll say the same thing I always say in these threads. T1 and T2, Alien and Aliens are all 10/10

Alien and Terminator are 10/10 sci fi horror, and T2 and Aliens are both 10/10 sci-fi action movies. I've probably seen these 4 films combined more than any others over the years, and my opinion hasn't really changed from childhood into my mid 40s.
