the whole idea of introduction, 2nd act end crash, third act rebuild and grow, has been lost by a lot of media
Rey could have worked if her past was revealed and she trained. It would have been a journey or kylo same story.
There is no moral to the story because you don't know the the characters or story until the end of the movie. So you don't know where they start.
By showing it was an alien you know who the antagonist is.

Dont forget the predators are hunting an autistic child because autism is a superpower and they can make autistic predators who will love sprite, cheese pizza and the green bay packers.
The Predators take Tylenol extra strength....... and the end!

redat take Tylenol extra strength....... and the end!
Oddly enough some of the recent stuff has been good. Prey was decent. The cartoon was decent. I think every franchise has a batman and robin moment where it gets too far up it's own ass. Then it resets. Lord of the rings is about there. Star trek got way better with strange new worlds

10 is the only acceptable answer , Die Hard 1 is the only action movie that comes close.
T2 isn’t an action movie it’s a Sci Fi like Predator , The Hidden and I Come In Peace ( Dark Angle ) , etc etc .

Rambo , Escape From New York , Commando etc etc are action movies , anything with other worldly stuff like Highlander should be sci fi even though it contains action which really is or an action star filled with grounded plots .

You understand films can cross genres, right?

They can but T2 is a sci fi movie of course it will be better then Die Hard bc it has way more replay value bc it’s not grounded it’s a fantasy film using sci fi it’s not a action film , it can be listed under action but it’s the wrong category in itself , action movies are primarily grounded to real life not time travel , aliens etc .

No, you've just made that up.

Key thing for it to be an action film is for there to be lots of action in it.

On the movie itself ? I’d say T1 is slightly better bc it feels more complete and simple ,less ACTION in it but it worked because it felt like a stalking movie if dread more serious where T2 felt like a fight film T1 vs a more advanced version and more comedic moments .

I didn’t make it up if we went by just any movie that has action in it that means we should just throw away the real categories and just call 85% of the movies ever made ACTION movies , this is where the internet of new generation fails bc bf it we knew how to properly categorize movies . Lol

Sorry but im not going to start calling movies like Time Bandits an action movie bc that’s what your telling me to do ? Makes no sense really .

You're acting like there's a bit of action sprinkled in, when the whole movie is littered with it.

There's sci-fi elements to Escape From New York, too, but you're happy to call that action.

RoboCop not an action movie, either? Demolition Man? Aliens? Inception? Minority Report? Every Superhero film?

Where do you draw the line?

No there’s action in the movie it’s not sprinkled in . I was only using escape from NY as an example, technically it’s a sci fi bc it uses futuristic stuff but it lacks supernatural things like time travel , cyborgs etc etc …it’s more grounded to action as there’s also no advanced weapons either , I mean they’re using walkie talkies to communicate , cell phones came a few years after this movie was taking place 1997 as the plot .

This is how the movie T2 is officially labeled.

( The film's classification is "sci-fi action" because its futuristic premise is the backdrop for its genre-defining action, )

Meaning it’s not an action film in the sense of Die Hard , that’s just a fact of life .

Your more then welcome to call T2 action but you’d be wrong bc it’s under Sci Fi , Just like any horror movie with comedy in it is under Horror / Comedy and films like Heathers is a Dark Comedy , knowing how to categorize movies shouldn’t be this hard really . Lol

No, you are wrong.

It's clearly a sci-fi action film, and you're frankly a moron if you can't accept that.

I never said it was an action film in the sense Die Hard is.

You said Escape From New York was pure action.....derp, clearly sci-fi elements to that film, too.

Well I already explained it to you above so ? I know you didn’t compare Diehard but that’s who I’m responding to but you decided to inject yourself into my conversation so I think your just to thick headed to understand if you can’t comprehend the post above that explains why you categorize a movie a certain way and I never said Escape was pure action your drunk .

Have a good one , maybe you’ll understand this if not I can’t help you .

( Die Hard and Terminator movies are in different categories because Die Hard is an action/thriller while Terminator is primarily a science fiction/action franchise. Die Hard is grounded in a more realistic, albeit heightened, scenario of a real life plot )

The Terminator movies are primarily science fiction because their action and horror elements are fundamentally driven by classic sci-fi concepts. The franchise explores complex themes about artificial intelligence, time travel, and destiny, with the action serving to advance and illustrate these high-concept ideas rather than existing for its own sake.

Every movie is placed in the category of their primary content, why is this so difficult to understand ? Smh

Of course. The blue lighting isn't what makes the movie. But the blue lighting is definitely a plus in my book.
Agreed. Im an overly aware person so ill notice things that are repetitive.

I didnt notice the blue lighting when I first saw his movies, but it distracts me now. Before I saw the lighting, I didnt notice how cheesy the T1000 looks when hes hitting the T800. Now it kills me. In other words, I loved, T2, still do, and preferred it over T1. Now, I prefer T1 because he wasn't spamming the lighting...and ill always prefer more of a horror genre.

top 10 film. best sequel of all time. the film score was incredible as well.
