Unless he is CGIed up to his eyebrows, Brett Goldstein is going to have to put on a ton of weight to pull his Hercules character off.

With that said, they can play it well in Ted Lasso. As a retired soccer player, Roy puts on a ton of weight like many former athletes.

Just watched it last night. It was ok, but it's not like I had any expectations for the movie. With that being said as a One Punch Man manga reader seeing Eternal reminded me of Cosmic Garou.

Saw it. Feels like a cash grab. I guess it'll be enjoyable if you're a kid or teen.

I might be done with these movies tbh. This second half has been incredibly underwhelming. They're just bad movies.
As a movie I actually think Eternals was the best made of the bunch, but who the fuck cares about the Eternals? NOBODY.
And if we're being honest with ourselves No Way Home was only cool because of what we brought to the movie, not so much what they put on the screen. IMO

Yeah I feel Eternals is looking better and better lol. It’s actually the one of the recent run of movies that I rewatched other than No Way Home, of course. Even though I was critical of aspects of it. I think that Amazon fight scene with the Deviants is pretty sick.

Also, I thought that even though there were two many characters, the actors did a good job of selling them and their relationships with each other. For instance, Don Lee was in, what, twenty minutes of the movie, and yet I thought he more than left his mark and helped make Jolie's performance more convincing as well.

Additionally, I'm not sure this recent run of movies really deals with plot exposition so well. It's either like- don't bother, we know you watched Wandavision- type of jumping right into things or it's labored with explanations that fall flat or seem contrived. Eternals actually had some good plot exposition in my opinion. I really liked, for instance, that sequence where Gemma Chan actually is informed by Arishem of what the plan is. I know many will disagree, but I was on board.

I thought this was interesting as much as the name Thor:Love and Thunder is thought of Natalie Portman and Chris more between Chris an his actual daughter.

At the end Christian Bale calls on Eternity to originally thought to end all Gods he then requested his daughter. The thing is many in the comic book world believes that is not his actual daughter but Eternity transforming into "Mistress Love " from the comic book realm. She ends up they believe different from the comic book aging really fast and falling in love with Thor. Or just end up showing all kinds of insane powers higher Thor.

"One of the universe's most powerful entities, Mistress Love can control emotions related to love in any being, even on a universal scale. An abstract being, Mistress Love adopts M-Bodies to interact with others. Not truly a "mistress," she appears in any form or sex, frequently reflecting the desires of those who see her. To confront Thanos, she chose a very feminine form; to Quasar, she appeared as his then-girlfriend, Kayla Ballantine; to the Enchantress, Mistress Love was a radiant male deity. Mistress Love can manipulate cosmic force, but prefers to act more peacefully.[4] Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, ranked Mistress Love at the same level of power as Master Order, Lord Chaos, and Sire Hate, she is well above Galactus, One Above All (Celestial), Kronos, Odin, Zeus, and Stranger, but well below Eternity and Infinity, who in turn are well below Living Tribunal.[5]"

The Eternals as characters have never resonated with me and I never felt they mixed well with the greater Marvel Universe (comic or cinematic).
Other than Neil Gaiman's Eternals, their comics have always been flops; zero long running volumes. They're a dead end. Never should have been introduced, assuming they're going to be mixed into the larger phase X? storyline. I have issues with the casting (Jolie, Hayek), the villain, origins of heroes and villains, and the overall plot, but it was done very well and its very watchable; I think I've probably watched it 3x. I love the speedster, incredible being able to convey that much charisma without speaking a single word. The cinematography alone makes it looks like a modern movie while the rest of the post-End Game MCU movies look made for network television.

I saw it today . . . It was cool, but man was Taika just not on it this go around. Hes doing too much and his work is suffering. Taylor Sheridan is getting like that too....some guys need to keep it simple.

The Best Eternals Storyline is Thanos Murdering his family.

Voted 6, but really 6.5.
Still a ton better than the first two. Favorite line of the movie…….

Go to hell Demon!

Well Taika confirmed what a lot of people where saying Disney Disnefy the film by removing many scenes they felt was to unDisney to show. So basically it had a darker tone then his first film and not what Love and Thunder ended up.

Gorr goes though a dark transformation and he has tattoos from his home he cuts off his body creating the scares on him. Apparently Mighty Thor transformation was to sexualized that you see her legs grow longer and her body change shape "rather like bigger chest of course arms and back". While Taika said against it he did not rule out a director cut. Oh and some nasty stuff Gorr did to scare the kids. He said there is over an hour left on the cutting room floor but did say most of it's bad.

I would have been interested in that cut , there wasn't enough serious moments to balance out the shitty humor , a lot of people are high and Bale , I am too , but his killing of gods should have been handled better.

MCU continue to shit the bed this year. I'm one foot out at this point.

I gave this a 6 because it had some great moments. But the story line as a whole was awful, weak acting, bad CGI, bad chemistry between the main characters.

I'm starting to feel like an asshole shitting on all these movies so i'm probably reaching the point where i'll stop watching. But i loved most of the movies leading up to end game, Ragnarok was incredible, so I gave it a chance.

They could have made this another iconic movie and villain with Gorr. If we saw more of his transformation, and how he was terrorising the Gods he was butchering. Made you feel actual fear for the children. Just adding that to the movie would have made it so much better.

Bale did really well with what little he was given.

Went with a 7.

Bale gave a fantastic performance.

I'm really enjoying Thors arc since Ragnarok. The god who has lost everything trying to find his way in the world.

Nowhere near the quality of NWH or Multiverse of madness but still solid.

I'm curious which big bad will be the main of these phases. Will it be Kang, Galatcus, Doom, or someone else

Pretty sure it’s gonna be Kang. It’s the whole premise for setting up the Young Avengers. They need to lock in and get face time for the new batch of actors and actresses assuming the mantle.

Holy shit this movie sounds even worse than I thought. I still cant see what everyone thought was so great about ragnarok other than Hela. She was a cool bad guy.

A small female as Thor is utter bullshit. Give Chris back his fucking Hammer and let him be what he is. I am a Portman fan. But give us THOR....Enough with the fat goofy Thor carrying over. Thor should be maturing and really becoming the dominant Hero he is. That all being said, Bale is dominant and this movie still had great moments. But the writing is indeed shit, and almost kiddish.
