Superman. Even in the comics where everyone acts like a retard to advance the story, superman won. In a bloodlusted scenario where they're both going all out, superman is stronger and more durable which doesn't even matter because he's also way faster.

Unless Kryptonite involved to weaken Supes...... supes wipes floor with Thor . Thor would hang for a while but if Supes was bloodlusted he stomps..... theres versions of Thor that might win but..,.................. there's a version of Supes that beats Galactus ( Supes Prime) . Base power Supes an its not close

It's so fuckin BORING
Ya, I watched like 4-5 DC or Marvel Universe movies, mostly b/c a girl I liked liked them. I thought Avengers infitinty war was good but like....in the end, it didn't matter. They just get to time travel and fix everything. It's boring b/c you have over powerful characters and time travel and there's never any real stress.

Though I did like guardians of the galaxy movies and i liked deadpool universe.

I've never been a fan of any "supergroups" comics outside of Xmen really.

When I read comics as a kid I usually stuck to the ones that just followed one main character, that I was attached to, and usually even then liked the darker characters that were on the DC Vertigo print. Once I went that way I didnt really go back, other than Xmen, Wolverine, Punisher etc.

I was more into Predator/Alien/Terminator comics on Dark Horse, or Sandman on DC vertigo.

When they started making alot of Superhero movies later on, I just didnt give a shit most of the time.

Guys flying around in skintight flourcent green outfits didnt appeal to me in comics and it def didnt appeal to me in the movies.

I thought they made Silver Surfer look cool.

That was on Justice League Unlimited. Pretty good episode and it's competitive until Superman beats Shazam into the living death via bank vault but as you say, Shazam then hits Superman with Shazam lightning which is clearly hurting him.

Superman still sons him like Hasbulla but agree this shows Supes is vulnerable to magical lightning and Thor has a path to victory.

That's actually not the fight I remember.
It has similarities though.
I'll see if I can find it.

The minute they said that Superman is as fast as the Flash, it meant zero chance for anyone else.
In theory this is correct.

But in practice, Superman is retarded.

Because 99% of his enemies don't have super speed, and yet they frequently hurt superman. Which means that he's not using his super speed, because if he did, then most of his enemies couldn't even land a single punch.

Basically Superman has so many powers that even he can't remember them all.

And if he weren't retarded, he'd use super speed in every fight.

Yeah once you introduce time travel then nothing matters anymore.

Endgame would've been so much better if they had actually come up with a plan to take the gems from Thanos and then use them to bring everybody back to life. There was no need to use time travel.

Comics always have some combination of the plot is stupid and character is stupid tropes. DC just has to do more of it than Marvel because the characters are so much more powerful, but they still want to pretend street level characters like batman could be relevant in that setting.

Yeah but Superman with super speed has always been a very egregious example.

They really should retcon the character and take that away. I mean they can make him faster than a human but making him almost as fast as the flash is stupid.

Not really in terms of the DC level of power. Wonder woman and Martian manhunter both have super speed for example along with a suite of other silly powers. Hell manhunter is so op he has to.be sidelined in a lot of stories just to have any sort of believable tension. Green lantern should be capable of handling a lot of justice league threats solo based on his power level in his solo books as well.

Much like how in a lot of avengers stories vision, Thor, doctor strange, Iron Man, and the hulk among others either have to be conveniently busy elsewhere offscreen, or they have to forget how to use their powers effectively or else they would just end the threat single handedly.
