Sorry champ, but I think were gonna focus on the facts on the grounds rather than your love for daddy on this one. And it looks like you blew it. Fired a bunch of officials who could have helped get the warning out, and TX refused to spend money protecting their own citizens so that they could instead fly migrants around the US as an expression of devotion to the fed.

Republicans made this mess, and like usual, don't want to take responsibility. And nothing about that surprises anyone.

The biggest failure is the new protocol that whenever $100,000 or more in relief goes out it HAS to go across Noem's desk. This resulted in a 72hr lag in response time. This should be a huge scandal.

The trumpers know it to. Notice how they don't even try to rebut the criticisms about the response? Not addressing the delayed help, the delayed funds, or the fact that they went out of their way to stop projects which could have warned people about his. Instead they'll just drop a tweet from someone in the administration claiming they've done a great job with no specifics, and act like it's case closed.

Conservatives would rather let their communities drown than admit a mistake.

This admin has these fools thinking FEMA should just be disbanded and the states should take on the entire responsibility. It's absolutely cultish. There would be states that would literally go bankrupt over a huge disaster. We are talking billions of dollars. But alas, these people are too far gone.

In '22 the average take per capita in Texas was $1,400+ federal funds received in excess of taxes paid. In contrast, California was a negative $3,200 per resident that same year.

Maybe FEMA shouldn't have purposely avoided giving aid to houses that had Trump signs on the lawn. You're okay with that because you lack basic humanity, but the rest of the civilized world found that abhorrent.

This is the only correct take.

Kerr County got millions of dollars to upgrade the flood warning system under the Biden infrastructure bill, but they gave the money to the local sheriffs department because they didn't like the idea of Democrats helping them.

All of the fucking idiots in the Kerr County government and Kerrville city government should be indicted for criminal negligence.

Texas is like a cult. I saw this earlier and can't believe how they were talking about Biden and Blue states. It was like a parody of some sort. Just bizarre. The receipt for this delusional outlook and behavior came back the other day in the form of dead bodies.

These people are totally to blame.
