More form work tonight.I've noticed I have a problem squatting down in the squat-clean. I naturally want to power clean it.I also sit in the hole too long.


I cannot lift tomorrow and Monday. Tuesday I'll be back.

It's less than my power clean, Odd. I'll take a swing and guess why. The bar and plates are smaller thus increasing the ROM. I am not confident enough with squatting down quickly. All things that will be fixed with time.

The difficulty with your cleans is based on your having done power cleans for so long. You can do form work and just focus on pulling-under. Start from the hang with the bar at mid thigh. Extend with a quick burst then get your ass under the bar so fast you travel back in time. Work on getting under the bar first, then work on catching the bounce. Pull-under must be correct and consistent before you can consistently complete the next step.

I did practice What Arlecchino suggested this morning. I was up at early,so why not ? I didn't get too much work in,Though, I had to go soon. Anyways, I got home at two. Catholic funerals suck. On the bright side afterwards they had refreshments. I had about five corned beef sandwiches. Cheese on three of them. So, I felt I needed to do something awesome. Z presses were on the agenda. I hoped to get 138 lbs
