I think there is some more to be done. I think Arman fight is a must and the Charles rematch would be good. But besides that, I don't see too much. Gaethje needs to show us another 2 wins, Gamrot was at one time a very interesting fight but he clearly lost to Dariush and just lost to Hooker.

Maybe Gamrot might pose a challenge? But even then that's a stretch and Gamrot can't seem to even get to earning a title shot.

It Islam can't get WW title fight just keep feeding him LWs to break the record more. When Silva cleared the division they gave him random guys who never deserved the titleshot.

Are we really saying this after beating Moicano? Arman, Benny (if he's not washed), Oliveira (already beat, shame the rematch got cancelled), Holloway, Chandler are all bigger challenges than Moicano for him.

Sure he can go up, but there are challenges at LW.
This is like hyping Khabib for beating Al or Islam for beating short-notice Hooker.

Agreed. Islam would chew Gamrot up in stand up, but maybe he can try and pull a Merab gameplan where he overwhelms him. At this point they should give Islam a fresh matchup to get another defense.

Come on guys, the main reason we watch the UFC is because they are all very good, and anyone can catch or beat anyone else in their weight class on any given night. That is the whole purpose of actually having the real world fights, and not just being fans of pretend, imaginary, make believe, fights and our predictions of their outcomes.
So what if Islam has beaten someone once, it does not prove that he would beat them again., unless you rely on silly Sherbro MMA math. Just because a fighter is coming off a loss does not mean they can not win their next fight, lol, more Sherbro MMA math. It is silly and ridiculous to say Islam should not fight folks like Gamrot, Gaethge, Fiziev, Turner, etc.etc. etc, just because Sherbros have pre-predicted their losses, so, no reason even to fight. It is not the UFC or the fighters who can't find fun fights for Islam, it is the Sherbros who have set up an arbitrary, imaginary fight heirarchy protocal that is the problem.
